With appreciation and thanks to Abigail Le Roux, our wonderful accompanist, for putting us through our paces during the rehearsal period, and to Dale de Windt, who accompanied our Vesper chant rehearsals and performances. 🎹

We acknowledge and thank Angus Warden, Shaun Karssen and the crew from Get On Co. for their incredible stage and logistics management in the weeks leading up to the performance days and at the City Hall itself 🚛

From having to juggle and set up multiple rehearsal venues, ensuring that we had all the equipment we needed, safeguarding performance assets, presence throughout rehearsal and performance sessions and seeing to the efficient breakdown of all venues afterwards, we are immensely grateful for their presence, assurance and support.

A massive thank you from all at SCCT!

Today, we give you the opening of the fantastic Agnus Dei written by Shane Woodborne to complete the liturgical movements of Mozart's C Minor Mass. We are grateful to Shane for his generosity in offering his arrangements to the SCCT and most honoured to present it in South Africa for the first time.

We thank our extraordinary orchestra, under the leadership of Valentina Vorster, who so professionally and excellently accompanied our performances this past weekend. 🎻🎺

The SCCT is privileged to be able to work with musicians of this caliber, bringing together players from across Cape Town to produce the outstanding product that was Mozart's C Minor Mass and Vesperae de Confessore.

We look forward to collaborating with you all in future! 🎶
