What an incredible day!
We’re still thinking about everything that happened at S.O.C Kids of the Coast — Nature Workshop and our hearts are FULL. 🥹🌊💚
A whole community of incredible people came together to give these kids a day they could explore, create, play, learn and simply enjoy being kids.
We want to say a massive thank you to every one of our partners, sponsors, facilitators and supporters who helped make this day possible. ❤️
To Phil thekelpshack , thank you for opening your space to us and welcoming our kids to the coast.
To Lindy ReWild Food , thank you for getting the kids looking a little closer at the natural world around them and showing them just how resourceful nature can be. We are also grateful that you kept our tummy’s fed 🌿
To Ros Art Forms in Nature thank you for bringing creativity, colour and a whole lot of magic through the cyanotype art experience. 🎨
To Pedro Espi-sanchis Pedro Espi-Sanchis thank you for showing our kids that music can be found in the most unexpected places — even in kelp! 🎶🌊
And to every sponsor and individual who donated towards the ingredients, snacks, drinks, gifts, resources, time, money, skills or simply said YES when we asked for help — thank you.
To Double "O" ,thank you for generously donating the drinks for the day and making sure our little superheroes stayed refreshed throughout their adventure. 🥤❤️
To Artsauce , thank you for donating the cyanotype paper and preparation paint that allowed the kids to create such beautiful pieces of art.
To The Village Hub in Scarborough, thank you for donating ingredients including pasta, tomatoes and fruit, helping us put together delicious food for the kids. 🍅🍝🍎
And to finally to MediaXpose , thank you for supporting us with treats for the goodie bags and canned food.
Every contribution mattered.
This is what happens when we decide that our children are worth showing up for.
And this is only the beginning. 🦸🏽♀️🦸🏽♂️💚
