On 31 July 2026, Inhlangano Development Agenda (IDA) successfully hosted a Toiletries Handover Programme at Table Mountain Primary School in Mkhambathini, KwaZulu-Natal. Together with our main sponsor, Boxer, and our valued partner, Docand Multipurpose Group (DMG), we distributed essential toiletry packs to 35 learners, helping to promote dignity, confidence, and healthy hygiene practices.

The smiles on the learners' faces reminded us that even a small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. However, during our visit we also observed that many learners still face significant challenges, including a lack of proper school uniforms, warm jerseys, and school shoes.

This is where our community can make a difference.

🎒✨LOOKING BACK WITH GRATITUDE – MARCH 2022 SCHOOL UNIFORM DONATION ✨🎒

In March 2022, Inhlangano Development Agenda (IDA) had the privilege of bringing hope, dignity, and smiles to learners through our School Uniform Donation Programme.

With the generous support of the Heritage Council (NHC), we were able to provide school uniforms and essential items to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds. This initiative was about more than clothing — it was about restoring confidence, encouraging school attendance, and reminding every child that they are valued and supported by their community.

Seeing the joy on the faces of the learners and their families was a powerful reminder that when organisations, communities, and partners come together, meaningful change is possible.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the National Heritage Council for believing in our vision and for helping us make a real difference in the lives of these children.

At IDA, we remain committed to empowering rural communities through education, arts, culture, sports, and social development.

At Inhlangano Development Agenda (IDA), through our "It Takes a Village" campaign, we are collecting: 🎒 School Bags 👞 School Shoes 🧦 Socks 🧮 Calculators 🧼 Toiletries 🥫 Non-perishable Food

We are appealing to individuals, families, businesses, retailers and corporate sponsors to consider purchasing one of these affordable combo packs and donating it to our campaign. Whether you donate one pack or one hundred, your generosity will help learners from disadvantaged communities start school with confidence, dignity and hope.

Every donation, no matter how small, has the power to change a child's future.

Throwback | Celebrating Our Sports, Arts & Culture Journey 🏆🎭🎶

At Inhlangano Development Agenda (IDA), we believe that empowering young people goes beyond education. Our organisation is built on three key pillars, and one of them is Sports, Arts & Culture.

Today, we take a moment to reflect on a special programme that was held 7 years ago at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). This initiative brought together passionate young people, creating a platform for talent development, teamwork, leadership, creativity, and personal growth.

Looking back at this moment reminds us of how far we have come and inspires us to continue investing in the potential of our youth. Every programme we host is aimed at building confident, skilled, and responsible future leaders.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to creating more opportunities that unite communities through sports, arts, and culture, because we believe that every young person deserves a chance to shine.

Many learners in Mkhambathini come from disadvantaged households and struggle to access basic hygiene products. Together, we can help them attend school with confidence, dignity, and pride.

We are collecting the following items:
