You expect so much from him. You expect him to provide yet show no gratitude. You expect him to protect, yet you criticize him for being a man. You demand he meet all obligations, yet you draw more lifeforce and blood than he has to offer. You expect him to fight in wars and lay down his life, yet you cast him away so easily. You want him to be strong, yet when he is strong you accuse him of being toxic. His confidence you label as arrogance. His kindness is never kind enough. You demand so much from him, yet you refuse to acknowledge that he is Human just like you.
He was created with a divine mandate - simply and uncomplicated - work, provide, care, build, protect and defend, create and be strong.
Yet, you have done everything in your power to deny him what is an integral part of the very DNA that makes him a Man
You refuse to acknowledge him as a partner - you want a slave . You want him broken and meek, subservient and useless. You deny his emotions and his mental health. You use him and abuse him - then you dare to turn around and accuse him of being the aggressor, the instigator, the predator, the monster - while you yourself know the power you yield over him.
He is fighting to keep his place while you would deny him being equal and have dignity.
Is it therefore strange to ready statistics presented by the WHO regarding su***de rates for men?
The global age-standardized su***de rate was higher in males (12.6 per 100 000) than in females (5.4 per 100 000) - in some countries that number rises to 45 per 100 000 compared to 10 per 100 000 in women.
