In March 2019 the Youth Council structure in Cape Agulhas were implemented again and the term for these Youth Council members were from 2021-2023. These members showed a high standard of commitment and youth participation in the community.

During the past two years the Youth Council members tried their best to participate in youth council meetings through virtual and physical engagements, by implementing youth projects created by themselves and by giving all youth members in the community a voice.

We had a few questions for the previous Youth Councillors who served the community's youth in Cape Agulhas in 2021/23.
First of all, we have Wihan Simons from Napier who likes to share what his experience was as a Youth Councilor.
