💙WINTER IS APPROACHING… AND KINDNESS IS KEEPING PEOPLE WARM 💙

Over the past two weeks, we have been incredibly blessed by generous donations of clothing from caring supporters in our community. Today, many of the people and families we care for are busy sorting through these clothes, finding warm items to help them face the cold winter days ahead.

For many, something as simple as a warm jersey, blanket, or pair of shoes can mean comfort, dignity, and hope during a very difficult season.

To every person who donated — thank you for making a real difference in someone’s life. Your kindness is helping vulnerable people feel seen, valued, and cared for just before winter arrives in it's full force. 🙏

💙 LOOK WHAT LOVE, KINDNESS & GENEROSITY CAN BUILD… 🏠
Every brick laid, every bag of cement used, and every wall that now stands represents something far greater than a building…

It represents hope.

For many people this may simply look like a building under construction, but for us it means safe shelter, dignity, warmth, and a place that someone can finally call home.

Every day we witness lives being changed because ordinary people choose to do extraordinary things.

But our journey is not finished yet.
While the structure is now standing, we still urgently need help completing the inside so these rooms can become homes for people who desperately need them.

We are still in need of:
🔹 Floor tiles
🔹 Ceiling boards & installation materials
🔹 Electrical supplies & wiring
🔹 Paint
🔹 Door awnings/weather protection
🔹 Finishing materials and fittings

🌱 Something special is taking shape for the children at The Love Ones of God Family Care Centre 💙

We are currently busy preparing a large sandpit area beneath the jungle gym to create a safer and more enjoyable play space for the kids.

Our team has already started digging out the area to a depth of approximately 200mm, and we are now in urgent need of clean play sand to help us complete the project.

For many of the children here, simple moments of play, laughter, and freedom mean the world. This sandpit will become a place where memories are made and childhood can simply be enjoyed. 🛝🌞

🎥 A LOOK BACK AT OUR JOURNEY – APRIL 2020 💙

This video was filmed at our facility on 28 April 2020. For many who have visited us over the years, this will be a reminder of how far we have come together. 🙏

When we look back at where we started, we are reminded that every donation, every share, every act of kindness, and every person who chose to stand with us has helped transform lives and improve our facility for the people who call it home.

So much has changed for the better because of your support. 🌟
But at the same time, this journey has also shown us how much work still lies ahead.

Many of our buildings, rooms, ablution facilities, and homes still urgently need repairs, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance as we continue caring for around 160 people daily, including children, pensioners, and vulnerable individuals with nowhere else to turn.

Thank you to every single person who has helped us carry this mission through the years. The progress you see today exists because people like you chose to care. 💙

As the needs around us continue to grow, we often reflect on the amazing businesses and individuals who once helped us make a difference — and the powerful impact that kind of support can still have today. 💙

Allbro gives back to the community.

The Loved Ones of God is a non-profit organisation who assists people in need of shelter and basic necessities. They reached out to Allbro for help to electrify new buildings which were built by the residents. Having assisted them in the past and knowing the fantastic work they do, Allbro was eager to help again. This came in the form of donating all the populated Ready Boards and Distribution Boards.

🗣🙌👏🤝 : FUCHS LUBRICANTS PAYS IT FORWARD WITH CHRISTMAS FOOD HAMPERS

has delivered Christmas food hampers valued at R275 000 to various orphanage and homes in Gauteng. Each food parcel weighs about 50kg, costs R1,069 and contains a range of over 20 products.

Recipient organisations included homes for children with mental disability, people with disability, orphanages, pensioners and families with no or minimal income. These included the The Potter's Place Educare centre, Tumelo Home, Ivory Park Ext 2, Bakgethwa Orphan Centre, The Love Ones Of God and Kruinhof Cottages.
