💚 ANOTHER LITTLE TRANSFORMATION AT THE LOVED ONES OF GOD 💚

The work continues at The Loved Ones of God Family Care Centre! 🙏

Over the past few weeks we have been sharing some of the improvements taking place around our centre, and today we would like to share another one with you.

What was once a tired and weathered little building has been given a completely new lease on life. 🏡✨

The outside has been repaired, revamped and repainted, with the timber restored and the entire building given a fresh new look. When you look at the before photos compared with what it looks like today, the difference is incredible.

For some, a coat of paint and a few repairs may seem like something small.

But for us, it is about much more than paint.

❤️ It is about dignity.
❤️ It is about creating a clean and cared-for environment.
❤️ It is about showing the people who live here that their home matters too.

With so many people depending on our centre every day, maintaining and improving our facilities is a never-ending task. We cannot renovate everything at once, but we can keep moving forward — one building, one room and one project at a time.

And slowly but surely, that is exactly what we are doing. 💪

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support, donate, encourage and believe in the work being done at The Loved Ones of God. Every contribution, whether big or small, helps us continue improving the lives and living conditions of the people in our care.

There is still a great deal that needs to be done, but looking at transformations like this reminds us just how much can be achieved when people come together. 🙏❤️

This is more than a shelter. For the people who live here, this is HOME.

🏡 Progress that brings hope. ❤️

Sometimes the greatest difference isn't measured in money—it's measured in the lives that are changed.

Over the past few weeks we've been hard at work transforming one of our buildings here at The Loved Ones of God Family Care Centre. What started as a simple structure has been turned into a safe, neat and dignified home through many hours of hard work, dedication and God's grace.

Every brick laid, every wall plastered and every coat of paint represents something much bigger than a building. It represents hope, security and a place where someone can once again feel at home.

Our work never stops. Every day we continue caring for more than 160 adults and 20 children, providing shelter, meals, support and a place where people can rebuild their lives.

To everyone who prays for us, volunteers, donates or simply shares our posts—thank you. You are part of every life that is changed here.

Ek wil net vandag vir Fanie en die span by Rentech Panel Beaters uit my hart uit baie dankie sê.

Fanie, dankie dat julle ons Datsun Go op 'n skenkingsbasis reg gemaak het, ge "polish" en weer mooi aanmekaar gesit het. Julle het ongelooflike werk gedoen en die kar lyk sommer weer soos nuut!

Dit beteken vir ons by The Love Ones of God ongelooflik baie. Elke rand wat ons nie aan herstelwerk hoef te spandeer nie, kan eerder gebruik word om vir die mense in ons sorg kos op die tafel te sit en na hulle om te sien.

Ons waardeer dit opreg dat julle bereid was om in ons organisasie te belê. Mense soos julle maak dit vir ons moontlik om aan te hou en ons deure oop te hou.

What a difference a few days can make!

These photos show the journey of one of our Wendy houses at The Love Ones of God Family Care Centre—from a verandah or stoep that had deteriorated over the years to a safe, welcoming home once again.
This renovation was made possible entirely through donated materials. Every plank, every bag of cement, every screw and every litre of wood treatment represents the kindness of people who chose to make a difference.

Because of your generosity, another family now has a dignified place to call home.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed towards this project. Your support doesn't just repair buildings—it restores hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

💙WINTER IS APPROACHING… AND KINDNESS IS KEEPING PEOPLE WARM 💙

Over the past two weeks, we have been incredibly blessed by generous donations of clothing from caring supporters in our community. Today, many of the people and families we care for are busy sorting through these clothes, finding warm items to help them face the cold winter days ahead.

For many, something as simple as a warm jersey, blanket, or pair of shoes can mean comfort, dignity, and hope during a very difficult season.

To every person who donated — thank you for making a real difference in someone’s life. Your kindness is helping vulnerable people feel seen, valued, and cared for just before winter arrives in it's full force. 🙏
