It is with a heavy heartโ€”but a hopeful eye on the futureโ€”that we announce Bargain Barkers Thrift Store will be leaving Mall@Carnival and moving back home to the Brakpan SPCA property.

As many of you know, the Brakpan SPCA is currently navigating a severe financial crisis. While we had high hopes for our Mall branch, the rising overhead costs mean the store has been draining our much-needed funds rather than being the "Store of Hope" we intended. To prioritize the animals in our care, we must consolidate our resources.

We want to express our immense gratitude to the Mall@Carnival management and owners. They have hosted us for over two years and gave us a wonderful opportunity to grow. We leave with nothing but appreciation for their support.
