Sing For Africa SING FOR AFRICA (SFA) was a dream that was established in 2006 with the vision of helping children, youth and women in need. Grow. Empower.

With various projects and collaborations our dream is expanding, including our beloved Happy Valley ECD Centre. 🌍 Sing for Africa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting communities through education, early childhood development (ECD), arts, culture, and empowerment. Based in Happy Valley, Blackheath, Cape Town, and Melville, Port Shepstone, we are a family-driven initiative passionate

about creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments where children and families can thrive. Our work includes:
• Providing high-quality early childhood education through our ECD Centre of Excellence
• Supporting vulnerable families with food, care, and resources
• Hosting community-building workshops and outreach programs
• Celebrating African identity through cultural and creative expression

At Sing for Africa, we believe every voice matters, and together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for the next generation.

• International Student Exchange Program with Excelia Business School in France.
• ECD Practitioner students practical experience volunteers from Northlink and Boland Colleges
• Food distribution to Fischers Road, Bottelery, Stellenbosch in collaboration with Checkers, Protea Heights

🎄 Help Us Make This Year-End Special for Our Little Stars! 🌟
Dear Friends and Family,
As we approach the festive season, we are excited to prepare for our year-end celebration and graduation ceremony for the amazing children in our program. This special event on 6 December will include a mini concert, an awards and certificates ceremony, braai plates for parents, and heartfelt Christmas gifts for our little learners to treasure.
While we are partially subsidized by the Department of Education and the Department of Social Development, this subsidy has remained at R17 per child per day for the past seven years, despite the rising costs of making these moments truly magical. That’s why we are reaching out to you—our friends, family, and community—for your support.
We are hoping to raise enough to cover:
🎁 Gift packs for 90 children, including their photos, personalised 2025 calendars, diplomas, awards, and a small gift (R100 each).
🍖 Braai plates for 270 parents and grandparents, helping them enjoy a delicious meal on this memorable day (R70 each).
