🎉💛 AND JUST LIKE THAT… THE KINDNESS CLOSET IS TURNING ONE! 💛🎉

What a journey it has been!

Take us back to the days (and way before) of Covid, when I was selling clothing and accessories in the kids play area at Silver Spur Steak Ranch to raise much-needed funds for animal food, kennels and sterilisations. 🐾

Fast forward to 17 October 2025, when we opened the doors to our little store at 72 Gemini Street, barely the size of our library.🥰 Today, we have grown into a much bigger factory space, filled with preloved treasures, endless possibilities and, most importantly, kindness that reaches so many lives. ❤️

To every person who has donated, shopped, supported, shared our posts, encouraged us and cheered us on from the sidelines - THANK YOU! 🥹🙏

Your love and support have helped us grow beyond what we could have imagined. Every purchase, every donation and every act of kindness helps us continue making a difference in the lives of animals and little humans who need us.

A huge thank you to Dioné Bekker and Enrico for always making a plan to collect kennels donated to us, and to Louise for her incredibly generous donation. And what a DOGGY HOTEL this one is! 😍🐾

With just over 2 months left in the year, we have almost 100 more to go. We are SO close to reaching our goal of 500, but we cannot do it without YOU!

And honestly… we’re starting to think she’s beginning to wonder if humans have somehow misplaced her forever family. 😅

For 2 whole years, Hope has watched her kennel friends pack their little bags, wave goodbye and head off to their forever homes… while she stays behind.
But here’s the thing about Hope: she hasn’t given up. ❤️
Every morning she wakes up with that gorgeous wagging tail, those big gentle eyes and the same hopeful attitude of:

"Okay… TODAY might be my day!" 🥹🐶
