🖤 I have such a soft spot for black doggies.

My own Junior has been on such a rollercoaster ride, in and out of the vet, so please send my precious boy some extra love and well wishes. 🐾🙏

This little mite came to visit at The Kindness Closet - Thrift shop by Ingamu Foundation, and obviously my heart sank a little because he reminded me so much of Junior at that age. ❤️
So, of course, we had to spoil him and his friend a little…

They come past most Mondays, and I always send some human goodies home with their owners too. Today, it was their turn to receive a little extra love. ❤️
This is what kindness looks like. It’s not always huge gestures - sometimes it’s a bag of food, a warm blanket, a jacket, or simply knowing someone cares.
Thank you for making a difference with me. Together, we keep spreading kindness, one paw at a time. 🐾❤️

💗🐾 HEY YOU… YES, YOU! HOPE IS STILL WAITING! 🐾💗
And honestly… we’re starting to think she’s beginning to wonder if humans have somehow misplaced her forever family. 😅

For 2 whole years, Hope has watched her kennel friends pack their little bags, wave goodbye and head off to their forever homes… while she stays behind.
But here’s the thing about Hope: she hasn’t given up. ❤️
Every morning she wakes up with that gorgeous wagging tail, those big gentle eyes and the same hopeful attitude of:

"Okay… TODAY might be my day!" 🥹🐶
Hope is currently living her best kennel life at Pure Rescue Rehabilitation and Training NPC 2021/765964/08 in Melkbos, Cape Town, and we are incredibly grateful to Kevin Beeby and his amazing team for loving and caring for her.

Now, let’s talk about this girl…
✨ Around 4½ years old
✨ Sterilised & microchipped
✨ Loving, loyal & ridiculously affectionate
✨ Enjoys calm doggy friends
✨ Best suited to older children
✨ LOVES playtime
✨ LOVES snuggles
🐱 Cats? Still an “I’m not sure yet” situation!

And before anyone asks…
❌ Hope is NOT broken.
❌ Hope is NOT difficult.
❌ Hope is NOT “too much”.
She is simply Hope.

A big-hearted girl waiting for someone to realise just how incredibly special she is. 💕
She doesn’t need a mansion.
She doesn’t need a fancy car.
She doesn’t even need a personal chef. 😁
She just needs a safe home, a comfy bed, someone to throw a ball, someone to share the sofa with and a human who will finally say…
“Yep. You’re my girl.” 🥹❤️🐾

So PLEASE… don’t let Hope celebrate another birthday wondering why everyone else got picked.
Maybe her forever family has been scrolling past this post without realising they’ve just found their missing piece. 👀💕

✨ Jessica collected donations for Annelize from Valhalla Park, who cares for so many animals in her community.

✨ Our second pair of clippers donated, delivered to Animal Anti-Cruelty League Cape Town to help keep theatre operations running smoothly and assist with shaves for drips, operations and, of course… our favourite procedure - STERILIZATIONS! 🩺✂️🐾

Our beautiful supporters, we know life gets busy. Things happen, plans change and sometimes we simply don’t get around to the things we intended to. We really do understand. ❤️

But behind every little reservation at The Kindness Closet there is someone giving their time to make it happen.
When you reserve an item, we take it off the shop floor, keep it aside, communicate with you, follow up and manage the admin involved. While we are doing this, that item cannot be sold to someone else - and every sale is REAL important to us.
Because The Kindness Closet - Thrift shop by Ingamu Foundation isn't just a thrift store. 🧡
Every purchase helps us create real impact for vulnerable animals and children through sterilisations, food, shelter, blankets, support and so much more. 🐾❤️

So we kindly ask our amazing supporters to please help us by following our simple reservation guidelines:

🧡 50% deposit within 72 hours to secure your reservation.
📦 Collection within 7 days.
💳 All items must be paid in full before leaving the shop.
📣 And most importantly… communication is key!

If something unexpected happens or you need a little extra time, please just talk to us. We are always happy to listen and see how we can assist where possible. 🙏
