⛔ Hate speech often grows where fear, stereotypes, and disinformation go unchallenged.

📆 On International Day for Countering Hate Speech, we’re sharing an inspiring local story from Gdańsk, Poland: “Senior without Fake News.” 💬

🤝 Polish and Ukrainian mature adults came together to learn how to recognize manipulation, talk about difficult information, and support one another in building trust across communities.

ℹ️ The project was led by the Gdańska Fundacja Innowacji Społecznej (Gdańsk Foundation for Social Innovation) as a part of TechSoup's Digital Activism Accelerator, with support from Google.org.

It's a beautiful reminder that countering hate speech is not only about reacting to harmful words. It's more about creating safe spaces where people can ask questions, share experiences, learn together, and feel less alone. 💞
