Staroot Youth Empowerment Foundation We help the Youth within townships with disadvantage backgrounds, who do not have access to educational opportunities.

Staroot Youth Empowerment Foundation (SYEF) is a non-profit organization, which aims to empower
young people by connecting them with life changing opportunities like skills development opportunities
and offering career advice/ information on bursaries, Learnerships internships and jobs. We also aim to
help youngsters to be better prepared to enter the world of work or start their own small busines

through various offerings and partnerships. We are an organization that aims to make a difference to the
huge unemployment rate in South Africa because it is the most pressing socio-economic problem and
brings with it poverty, crime, violence and loss of dignity.
