Launched in 1999 by NBCRFLI, the Trucking Wellness Programme ensures healthcare for Road Freight & Logistics workers.

With mobile & fixed Wellness Centres nationwide, it's a vital primary healthcare model along trucking routes in South Africa & beyond. The Trucking Wellness Programme was launched in 1999 as an initiative of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI). The programme is a primary healthcare delivery system dedicated to the health and wellness of those employed in the Road Freight and Logistics Industry. Over the years, Trucking Wellness has evolved into a sustainable model of primary healthcare delivery to key populations through a blend of sleek mobile Wellness Centres and 20 fixed roadside Wellness Centres. These Clinics can be found on all major trucking routes and across South Africa’s borders.

You know your load.
You know your route.
You know your truck.

But do you know your numbers?
🩺 Blood pressure
🩸 Blood sugar
❤️ Cholesterol

These numbers can tell you a lot about what’s happening inside your body — often before you feel that something is wrong.

A quick health check could help identify a risk early and give you the chance to do something about it.

Pop in at a Trucking Wellness Roadside Wellness Centre, take a few minutes and know your numbers.

🚛 Not every load is visible.

Long hours, time away from home and the pressure of the road can take a toll on your mental health.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply not like yourself, don’t carry it alone. Talk to someone you trust or reach out to a healthcare professional. Asking for help is not weakness — it’s part of taking care of yourself.

Your mental health matters. 💙
