Mense van Anzé,

Vandag wil ons vir elkeen van jul bitter baie dankie sê vir al die ondersteuning en gebede die afgelope tyd.

Julle het Anzé en famielie gedra deur gebed en geloof. Sonder julle sou dit nie moontlik gewees het nie. Julle het ons almal krag gegee om elke dag te vat soos dit kom.

Liefste Anzé is nou saam God, want Hy het die mooiste blom kom haal. Jy het ons gewys wat liefde is en so ook ons almal nader aan God gebring.

Jy my pop sal verewig en altyd in ons harte wees en ons sal sover ons gaan vir almal laat onthou hoe sterk jy was.

Een van Anzé se grootste bekommernisse was dat sy nie haar boetie Zean kon sien groot word nie, Sussa, ek wil net vir jou sê dat ons almal sal sorg dat Zean weet hoe lief jy hom het en dat jy altyd in sy hartjie sal voortleef en jy altyd sy ousus sal bly.

Weereens baie dankie aan elkeen van julle, want julle het almal deelgevorm aan ñ strek ketting wat nooit gebreek sal word nie.

This week is International Neuroblastoma Awareness week. 💜🌻

Neuroblastoma is a solid cancer of the nerve tissue of the sympathetic nervous system. It often begins in the adrenal glands, which are small glands on top of each kidney. It can also begin in the chest, in nerve tissue near the spine in the neck, or in the spinal cord.

Neuroblastoma usually begins in early childhood, with about two thirds of the cases presenting before the age of 5. It can be present at birth, but is most often diagnosed much later when the child begins to show symptoms of the disease. In the majority of cases, neuroblastoma has already spread to areas outside of the original site at the time of diagnosis.

Hi everyone.
Just a quick update on Anzé.

Last week Monday she went to hospital for a check up, and she was due to start her monthly chemo pill session. Unfortunately her haemoglobin count was low, and she was scheduled for a blood transfusion the following day. The doctors cancelled her chemo for last week due to her counts not being high enough.

Yesterday she returned to hospital for another check up and the doctor informed us that they will be lowerering her chemo dosage from 200mg tablets to a 100mg. She will also no longer receive the red chemo bag. All this is in an attempt to increase her counts as well as to get her appetite to return, as she has lost a lot of weight. Her morphine was increased earlier this month to 140mg daily, which is keeping the pain under control. Anzé's next check up will be on the 28th, and we are hoping that the lowering of her chemo will result in her counts increasing.

More almal.
Ek weet ons het n hele rukkie terug laas opgedateer op Anze se blad en op whats app.
Anze kry nog steed chemo sy het juis maandag haar rooi sakkie chemo na haar week se chemo pille gehad. Sy is by huis. Sy het laas week woensdag ook 2sakkies bloed gekry omrede haar bloed baie laag was asook haar yster. Sy is nou op 50mg morfien in die oggend en 50mg in die aand. Sy het oneindig baie baie pyn. En ons moet dit onder beheer hou, want sy mag glad nie pyn hê nie.
Haar eetlus is ook tans baie sleg.
Het infeksie gehad nou 2 keer en is ook nou op antibiotika.
Sy kry nog steeds skool onderig by huis deur baie spesiale mense wat Anze se toestand verstaan en op haar pas haar so mooi help. Ons is oneindig dankbaar vir hulle. En waardeer dit opreg.
Ons wil ook dankie se vir haar tannie wat altyd reg staan om saam haar hospitaal toe te gaan. Ons waardeer ook opreg.
Sy bly steeds glo, hoop en positief en nog steeds wanneer nie in pyn nie is daai mooi smile steeds daar.
Sy het 3 weke terug n photoshoot saam haar familie gehad wat vir haar ook oneindig beteken. As ook die naweek weg as n familie.
Dankie aan almal wat so baie vir haar Bid, beteken ,omgee, doen en daar is vir haar.
Ons bly steeds Bid. Ons dien n groot Here en glo dat Hy nog steeds vir ons n wonderwerk gaan gee waaroor Anze nog baie sal getuig.
