LHP's The Good News Club

LHP's The Good News Club The Good News Club is a NPC founded in 2021 by Langenhoven Park residents who wanted to keep our suburb clean, safe, and beautiful.

We welcome everyone who lives or works here to join us in making a difference. It’s not our job, but it is our suburb!

This Youth Day, we're reminded that the work we do today shapes the community our children inherit tomorrow.

Clean parks.
Safe sidewalks.
Well-maintained public spaces.

These aren't just projects. They're investments in future generations.
Happy Youth Day, South Africa.💚

Many people assume keeping Langenhovenpark clean and maintained takes huge donations.
The truth? If enough people contribute a little, together we can achieve a lot.

💚 Residential memberships start from just R100 per month.
That's less than many of us spend on coffee, snacks, or takeaways.
Join the movement and help us keep LHP clean, safe, and beautiful.

Because nobody can do everything.
But everyone can do something.

We're not just fixing parks. We're building pride. 💚

People often see the grass cutting, the pothole repairs, and the clean-ups.
But TGNC is about something bigger.

It's about creating a suburb where people feel proud to live.
A place where children can play, neighbours can connect, and businesses can thrive.
Every project is another step towards a cleaner, safer, more beautiful Langenhovenpark.

From overgrown to well cared for 🌿

The park in Karl Kielblock Street has seen a major transformation through ongoing rehabilitation, clean-ups, and maintenance by The Good News Club. Spaces like these don’t just look better, they create safer, cleaner, more welcoming areas for everyone in Langenhovenpark to enjoy.
But keeping parks and public spaces this way takes continuous work and ongoing support.

👉 Help us sustain projects like this across LHP by signing up as a monthly contributor through this link : https://forms.office.com/r/YNhqWBsFS2
Every contribution helps us keep the good work going.

We genuinely appreciate every business and individual backing TGNC and believing in what we’re building together.

The leaves are falling, the mornings are colder, and somehow Bloemfontein skipped straight past autumn again. 🍂

But while the weather may be slowing everyone else down, TGNC is still hard at work keeping Langenhovenpark clean, safe, and cared for through every season.

Because community care doesn’t take a winter break. 💚

Grass cutting underway across Langenhovenpark as we get our parks and open spaces ready for the colder months.

Keeping things neat now makes all the difference later. 💚

♻️ Refuse reminder for Langenhovenpark

Collection days aren’t always as predictable as we’d like and putting bags out too early can quickly turn into a mess.
That’s why TGNC has dedicated WhatsApp groups to keep you updated with accurate, weekly refuse collection info, straight from the source. 👇

On Friday, 27 March, Raubex was out in Langenhovenpark tackling potholes in Dirk Opperman Street - repairing 8 of them using 1 ton of asphalt. 💪
This kind of progress doesn’t just happen. It’s made possible through the ongoing support behind The Good News Club, turning contributions into real, visible change on our streets. 💚

Big thanks to Raubex for always stepping in and getting it done.
