New Beginnings

New Beginnings Helping people and pets in need New Beginnings is a non-profit organisation (NPO) with a goal of providing hope and help to both people and pets in need.

We focus on a variety of charity work - mostly around Bloemfontein, Freestate (South Africa). Our primary objective is to BE the change we want to see in our community. And we do this not only through our regular community outreaches and community upliftment projects, but also through rescue and rehabilitation of needy, abused, stray and starved pets. We provide a stepping stone to less privileged

families by helping to fulfill their basic daily needs by providing them with food, school supplies, toiletries etc. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We want to keep our eyes, hearts and hands open to help His creation and heal the world one person and animal at a time...

🐾❤️ Our mascot, Roo, has been working HARD to help us raise much-needed funds for the animals in our care! ❤️🐾

Recently, Roo had the wonderful opportunity to visit Supa D**a Kids, where he had an absolute ball with the little ones!

The children learned all about basic pet care, kindness towards animals, and the importance of responsible pet ownership. Education is such an important part of what we do, and we are always grateful for opportunities to share our passion with young animal lovers.

A huge THANK YOU to Teacher Genna, the staff, and all the kiddies for the warm welcome and the generous donations for our shelter. Your support means the world to us and helps us continue caring for animals in need.

We had a fantastic time and can't wait to visit again! 🐾🥰

🐶 Want to meet a dog
🐶 Want to check if a dog is still available
🐶 Would like to apply to adopt

📝 Step 2: Complete the Application
We’ll send you an adoption application form. Simply complete it and let us know once it’s done.

🏡 Step 3: Home Check
One of our friendly team members will contact you to arrange a home check. This helps us ensure every dog is placed in a loving, safe, and suitable home.
Please don’t stress about the home check or let it put you off adopting! We simply love our dogs and want the very best for them ❤️

✅ Step 4: Approval & Adoption
Once approved, you’ll receive the adoption contract and pay the R1 100 adoption fee, which includes:
✔ Vaccinations up to date
✔ Deworming
✔ Tick & flea treatment
