New Beginnings

New Beginnings Helping people and pets in need New Beginnings is a non-profit organisation (NPO) with a goal of providing hope and help to both people and pets in need.

We focus on a variety of charity work - mostly around Bloemfontein, Freestate (South Africa). Our primary objective is to BE the change we want to see in our community. And we do this not only through our regular community outreaches and community upliftment projects, but also through rescue and rehabilitation of needy, abused, stray and starved pets. We provide a stepping stone to less privileged

families by helping to fulfill their basic daily needs by providing them with food, school supplies, toiletries etc. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We want to keep our eyes, hearts and hands open to help His creation and heal the world one person and animal at a time...

We had the absolute honour of joining Gloria for her 100th birthday — and she had two very special requests:

Gloria was surrounded by her wonderful friends and family, making her special day truly beautiful, joyful and blessed. What an incredible milestone to celebrate! 🥰🎉

This is the reality for so many dogs.

Tied up on short ropes.
Standing in the freezing cold.
No shelter from the rain.
No soft bed to sleep on.
No warmth.
No comfort.

They don't ask for much... just a chance.

Our team goes into impoverished communities to reach these forgotten animals before it's too late. We don't just drop off supplies—we change lives.

Each Winter Kennel Pack includes:
🐾 A sturdy kennel
🐾 Nutritious food
🐾 Running wire so they have space to move
🐾 A soft collar
🐾 Warm blankets
🐾 Food and water bowls

Just a few weeks ago, little Rudd was rescued by our New Beginnings fieldwork team.

This tiny puppy was tied up on a chain, with little hope for the future. 💔

His family handed him over to us, trusting that we would find him the better life he deserved. And that is exactly what happened. 🥹❤️

Today, Rudd is now known as Archie Piet Wolmarans and has found his forever family! 🏡🐾

He has been adopted by a beautiful family who are also part of Saint Andrew's School, Bloemfontein . What makes this adoption even more special is knowing that Archie will now grow up surrounded by love, care and endless opportunities to be the happy puppy he was always meant to be. ❤️
