🌱 Teen Wellbeing Learning Exchange | Zero Drop-out Campaign (ZDC)
Theme: The Learning and Wellbeing of Teenagers in the Free State
As part of the Zero Drop-out Campaign (ZDC), we are creating a safe and engaging space for teenagers to explore the realities that influence their learning, wellbeing and ability to remain engaged in education.
The Teen Wellbeing Learning Exchange brings young people together for meaningful conversations around empathy, emotional wellbeing, relationships, communication, personal experiences, challenges affecting their education, and how they can support one another.
The session is not only about keeping young people in school — it is about understanding what helps teenagers thrive, what barriers may push them away from learning, and what can be done to create supportive environments where every teenager feels heard, valued and empowered to continue their educational journey.
Through dialogue, reflection and peer learning, young people are encouraged to share their perspectives, listen to others and identify practical ways to strengthen their wellbeing and participation in learning.
Because preventing school drop-out requires more than academic support. It requires us to listen to young people, understand their realities and create environments where they feel supported enough to stay, learn and succeed. 💙📚
