As our national soccer team, Bafana Bafana, takes part in the Soccer World Cup, we would like to show our support and school spirit.

Every Friday, learners are welcome to wear their Bafana Bafana T-shirts or any South African soccer jersey (if they have one) to support our team.

It’s simply a fun way for us to cheer on South Africa together!

Before we celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday, we would like to take a moment to appreciate all the amazing mothers for the love, care, and support you give every single day. 💐

A mother’s love is gentle, strong, comforting, and endless. Thank you for always standing by your children, encouraging them, and helping them become the best they can be. ❤️

Animal Farm Day 1! 🐑🐴

Wow, what a fun day!

The kids had the best time feeding animals, riding donkeys, and exploring the farm with big smiles and even bigger excitement.

From giggles to muddy shoes, today was full of special moments we won’t forget anytime soon.

Today we celebrate Human Rights Day 🇿🇦 — a very important day in South Africa where we remember that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, fairness, and respect.

At Preschool The Light, we teach our little ones the value of love, inclusion, and standing up for what is right. Even at a young age, children can learn to be kind, share with others, and respect differences.

As Nelson Mandela once said:
“To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.”

Let us continue to guide our children to grow into compassionate and respectful individuals 💛
