On 25 July 2026, the third Mandela Soccer Cup was hosted by Bloem 1 Stop at Our Child and Youth Care Centre (OCYCC). Watching the children play with such determination, excitement, and pride was a reminder of what this event has come to represent. What began as an initiative in 2024 has become a treasured tradition within our Centre. The Mandela Soccer Cup trophy proudly remains on display at OCYCC, reminding every child that dedication, teamwork, and perseverance are worth celebrating.

Bloem 1 Stop also supported OCYCC in establishing a study room, a long-held dream, into a reality. We sincerely hope that the "Bloem 1 Stop Academy of Learning" will become a place where children discover their potential, develop a love for learning, and build a future filled with opportunity. Your investment extends far beyond paint, furniture, and equipment; it is an investment in education, confidence, and hope. The children were also treated with beautifully prepared gift packets, each accompanied by heartfelt messages. The smiles, excitement, and gratitude on their faces spoke louder than words ever could.

Partnerships such as ours remind us that no child should ever have to face life's challenges alone. Knowing that organisations like Bloem 1 Stop continue to stand beside us gives our children hope and gives our staff renewed encouragement to continue serving with dedication and purpose.
