Dear Members,
You are invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Universitas West Neighbourhood Association.
Date: Thursday, 11 June 2026
Time: 18:00
Venue: Rusplek Guesthouse, Paul Kruger Avenue
Documents for review
The audited financial statements and the Chairperson’s Annual Report will be available for inspection at the meeting.
Proposed constitutional amendments
The following changes will be tabled for discussion and vote:
1. No person holding a political position may be elected to the Management Committee.
2. All property owners in Universitas West are eligible for nomination and voting, subject to
clause 1 above.
3. Voting rights at the AGM will not be restricted to paying members only.4. From the year following, the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and
Treasurer shall be filled through a nomination process held prior to the AGM.
5 Voting for Management Committee members shall take place at the AGM by ballot paper.
Election of Management Committee
In terms of the Constitution, the current Management Committee must be re-elected or replaced.
Members interested in serving on the Management Committee are invited to nominate themselves or another candidate for:
- Chairperson
- Vice-Chairperson
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- 2 to 5 additional committee members
