📚🎉 A PROUD MOMENT FOR BAKOENA FOUNDATION! 🎉📚

We are honoured and excited to announce that Bakoena Foundation has been selected as a beneficiary of the 2026 AVBOB Road to Literacy Campaign!

Out of more than 6,700 nominations received from across South Africa, our organisation was chosen to receive a Trolley Library containing 500 CAPS-aligned books valued at R57,500.

This incredible achievement is a testament to our commitment to promoting education, literacy, and lifelong learning within our communities.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are pleased to announce that Bakoena Foundation will be launching Reading Clubs and Spelling Bee Clubs at schools across the Thabo Mofutsanyana District. These programmes will encourage learners to develop strong reading habits, improve vocabulary, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.

Through these clubs, we aim to:
📖 Promote a culture of reading in schools
🐝 Develop spelling, language, and communication skills
🏆 Prepare learners for spelling bee competitions
🌟 Empower young minds through education and literacy

We extend our sincere gratitude to AVBOB for this wonderful opportunity and congratulate everyone who played a role in making this possible.
