We wish to express our deepest gratitude for being selected as the recipient of the R12 000 Shoprite Community Network gift voucher broadcasted on Lesedi FM.

Our organisation is deeply committed to building, mentoring, and empowering men and boys within our communities to create a safer, healthier and more supportive society.

Emmanuel Daycare centre is our first beneficiary to benefit from this community upliftment initiative.

Thank you Shoprite! Your collaborative effort to invest back into grassroots nonprofit organisations gives us strength and resources to continue our work.

🔔 DELAYED POST ‼️

We held a powerful session with learners at Thabo Thokoza Secondary School, tackling topics that directly shape their safety, choices, and future.

Learners explored 4 key areas:
1. Rights and Responsibilities – understanding what the law protects and what it expects
2. Teenage Pregnancy and Statutory R**e – knowing the risks, the law, and where to get help
3. Bullying and Peer Pressure – recognizing it and learning how to resist
4. Gender-Based Violence – speaking openly about respect, boundaries, and reporting

To make it interactive, learners were divided into 4 groups. Each group researched their topic and presented back to the class. The energy, honesty, and knowledge shared by the learners was impressive – they didn’t just listen, they led the conversation.

Sessions like this build awareness and give young people the tools to protect themselves and each
other.

Our team successfully identified 4 deserving families in Bohlokong to receive food parcels.

Food insecurity remains a challenge, but so does community resilience. Every parcel is a bridge between crisis today and independence tomorrow.

Any contribution, regardless of size, will make a meaningful difference.

We appreciate Boxer Superstores for their kind donation.

TRAINING ON THE REVISED WHITE PAPER ON FAMILIES (2023)

National Social Development together with provincial families unit and stakeholders, held a comprehensive training workshop on the revised white paper on families facilitated by Mr Percy Ntsoane on the 10th - 12th June 2026.

The Revised White Paper on Families 2023 shifts focus from ‘fixing broken families’ to ‘strengthening all families’ through prevention, wellbeing, and community partnerships.

Our program aligns with this policy by building skills and wellness for women and men in Bohlokong to create stronger, healthier households.

June is Men's Mental Health Month. Gents, real strength is not pretending you're okay when you're not. It's talking. It's resting. It's asking for help before you break.

Stress, anger, sadness, pressure to "be a man" - we all feel it. Keeping it in doesn't make you stronger. It makes the load heavier. Check on your brother. Check on yourself. You matter even when you are quiet.

Today our team was on the ground together with other stakeholders in Bohlokong (Vogelfontein) for door-to-door outreach, We went house to house to let families know about our services and to raise awareness for Child Protection Week.

Every conversation was a chance to remind parents and children: You are not alone. Help is available. Your safety matters.
