June is Men's Mental Health Month. Gents, real strength is not pretending you're okay when you're not. It's talking. It's resting. It's asking for help before you break.

Stress, anger, sadness, pressure to "be a man" - we all feel it. Keeping it in doesn't make you stronger. It makes the load heavier. Check on your brother. Check on yourself. You matter even when you are quiet.

Today our team was on the ground together with other stakeholders in Bohlokong (Vogelfontein) for door-to-door outreach, We went house to house to let families know about our services and to raise awareness for Child Protection Week.

Every conversation was a chance to remind parents and children: You are not alone. Help is available. Your safety matters.

Our Parenting Skills Programme held a successful session educating the young boys about consequences of one bad choice that could change their lives.

Boys face specific pressures: to prove toughness, don’t show feelings and follow the group.

This session gave these young boys a chance to reflect, talk about consequences without shaming, and to raise boys who can think before acting.

🌍 Child Protection Week 🇿🇦 | Theme: “Working together in ending violence against children”

This week, we stand united to protect the most vulnerable members of our society — our children. In South Africa, our Constitution places the highest value on the rights, dignity, and equality of every child.

Violence, exploitation, and abuse have no place in our communities. Article 28 of our Constitution is clear: it is our duty to protect and uplift our children.

Let’s work together to create safe spaces, raise awareness, and build a future where every child feels loved, protected, and free to thrive. 💚

This International Day of Families, we reaffirm our commitment to:

•Keep families together through counselling, mediation, and parenting support.

•Protect the most vulnerable - women, children, and people with disabilities within families .

•Strengthen families so they can cope with crisis and break the cycle of violence.

A strong family doesn’t mean a perfect family. It means a family where every member is safe, heard, and supported.

To every parent, caregiver, grandparent, and guardian doing the hard work of holding families together: We see you. We stand with you.
