September is Will's month
HAVE YOU MADE PROVISION FOR YOUR PETS?
Making provisions for your pets in your will ensures they are cared for by someone you trust and have the funds needed for their care and that your final wishes can get carried out.
Key Steps to Include your Pets in your Will
Appoint a Caregiver: Name a trusted person who agrees to take your pet, remember to discuss this very sensitive matter with your nominated Caregiver beforehand.
Name a Backup Caregiver: an alternate person in case your first choice cannot take the pet.
Provide Financial Support: Leave a cash gift to the caregiver or set up a testamentary trust to pay for food and vet bills. Pets are legally considered property, so funds cannot be given directly to an animal.
Write a Letter of Wishes: Create a separate, non-binding document listing your pet's favorite foods, medical history, and daily routine
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PETS IN YOUR WILL🤗🐾
