💧*RAND WATER SHUTDOWN AFFECTING EKURULENI💧*
🚱 Residents are asked to prepare for major water disruptions as an extensive maintenance operation is expected, which will impact water supply in multiple areas.
🚱 The maintenance programme will begin 29 May 2026 and continue in phases until 17 July 2026.
*EXPECT*
● Sudden water outages
● Critically low water pressure
● Intermittent water supply interruptions
● Prolonged dry taps in certain areas
📍 *AREAS EXPECTED TO BE AFFECTED*
Germiston, Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park, Edenvale, Thembisa Katlehong, Brakpan, Springs, Vosloorus and surrounding areas.
🚱 *Residents are advised to begin storing emergency water supplies immediately for drinking, cooking,* *sanitation and other essential household needs.*
Water tankers will be dispatched to heavily affected areas where possible.
