There are pieces of you that I see in me

From there it is back to what came undone

But that doesn't mean we don't get tired too, and things get cloudy when we are tired which is why rest is so, so important.

Stepping back, taking time out, turning of the noise.

At the moment I feel exhausted.

I wake up every morning remembering that here's another day my daughter isn't in, and I’ll say it a thousand times knowing in my heart she is ok doesn’t take the ache away.

I'm day three of a return to oral chemo (yeah that happened too), my bones are aching, nausea and night sweats are my new friends again, and I don’t know where to turn or what’s next.

I couldn’t tell you what I feel because I’m not sure I am.

So I don’t pretend. That’s it. I don’t make anything up.

I just accept, that for now at least, I have no idea.

And it’s ok.
