It has been 4 years today since Christian was diagnosed with brain cancer. What a rollercoaster of a journey, with so much heartache and many victorious moments.

Two weeks ago Chris had his second major seizure. It's been 16 days since we heard his voice. Sixteen day days of waiting, hoping and praying.

He is fighting hard and we cling on to every moment that we still have with him.

Three years ago today our journey began! Those first few days we didn't know if he'd be with us for that first Christmas. Grateful for every Christmas, birthday and normal day.

Today is Christian's Crown Birthday. He is 22 today. It's been a hard couple of years, but every step of the way he has been surrounded by the endless love and support of family and friends.

Following some hard news a couple of weeks ago, he had his MRI (he's now halfway through chemo) and it showed some significant reduction and stabalisation of the tumours in his brain and no spread to the spine. We really could not ask for more at this point!!

He will now continue with chemo until February next year when they will rescan. Our prayer is that the chemo keeps working and those tumours keep shrinking.

It's crazy to think that this journey started two years ago. I remember sitting in ICU opening this Back a Buddy campaign, not knowing what else to do. What a rollercoaster! Chris had a full year of 'no evidence of disease' and then earlier this year relapsed and is now busy with chemo. In October he will be halfway and they will scan again to see if the chemo is working.
