Our stationery drive, which kicked off 5 January until 28 February 2026, has come to a successful end. We're ecstatic to report that, thanks to the incredible support from Shoprite, we've been able to provide 20 learners with essential stationery sets and A4 books. Additionally, 10 learners have received preloved uniforms and school shoes, giving them a boost in their educational journey.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shoprite Belhar for the gift card and the Belhar community for partnering with us. A special thank you to those who donated Spar cash slips and to Ria Olivier and sister Rosie for their kindness.

Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of these learners. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity and support 🙏

Good afternoon everyone,

What a blessed time we've had with the kids on Monday, 15 December 2025, at Tygerberg Nature Reserve, celebrating our 7th annual 'everybody's birthday' party! The kids enjoyed hiking, and we shared gifts, preloved clothes, educational toys, soft toys, party packets, cupcakes and fruit. We're grateful for the community, family, and friends who supported this special day.

It was so beautiful to celebrate on the top of the hill with a breathtaking scenery. (Everyone should visit Tygerberg Nature Reserve, you won't regret it)

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to this event. Your support made it a resounding success, and the kids will cherish these memories for years to come. The 'everybody's birthday' celebration is a pivotal annual event on the BBL calendar, and we're thankful for your involvement.

Today was my first event as a GBV ambassador in partnership with the Department of Social Development (DSD). Building Better Lives Foundation is honored to collaborate with DSD and believes that together, we will build on the strengths of our partnership to combat violence against women and children.

We also extend our gratitude to Development Centre for Community Upliftment (DCCU) and a few women from Belhar for joining us in this fight against GBV - together, we're raising our voices and standing united against this national crisis.

*GBV & Cancer Awareness Program*

We are grateful to *HCI* *Foundation* and *Table* *Mountain CSI* for their generous support, which enabled us to take a group of community members on an unforgettable journey to Table Mountain on *November 30, 2024.*

Our first stop was Camps Bay, where we hosted a cancer awareness program that had been postponed in October due to the devastating fire at Table Mountain. We were fortunate to have Sister Wynand share valuable insights on cancer causes and prevention, and Pastor Phoebe inspire us with her courageous testimony.

The program was followed by a poignant and symbolic memorial walk, where we honored the strength and resilience of cancer survivors and remembered loved ones who have passed on. We released balloons into the sky, celebrating the lives of those who have won the battle against cancer, and lit candles in memory of those who have gone before us in their fight. This heartfelt tribute was a powerful reminder of the impact of cancer on our community and the importance of our collective support.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sister Wynand and Pastor Phoebe for their contributions to the program. Your dedication to empowering our community is truly appreciated.

This event would not have been possible without the support of HCI Foundation and Table Mountain CSI. Thank you for your commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Together, let's continue to raise awareness, support those affected by GBV and cancer, and honor the memories of loved ones who have inspired us with their courage and strength.

BBL is hosting a conference with special guests from Kenya and our very own preacher from SA, Pastor De Villiers.

The theme is The Power of God...
And with such esteemed men of God visiting SA we can look forward to divine visitation and a glorious touch of God.

Esther visited King Ahasuerus and it led to the salvation of the Jewish people from Haman's plot and established queen Esther as a hero and a symbol of courage.

The angel Gabriel visiting Mary marked the beginning of the New Testament narrative and
signified the fulfillment of prophecies and the dawn of a new era.

Mary visiting Elizabeth, led to the meeting of the unborn Jesus and John the Baptist and resulted in Elizabeth's prophetic declaration

So, if human or angelic visits can lead to remarkable events and transformations, imagine what a visit from God do. It can bring about unimaginable blessings, guidance, and life-changing moments!

Divine visits often results in:
- Revelation of God's character and love
- Guidance and direction for individuals and nations
- Transformation and redemption
- Empowerment and equipping for service
- Unforgettable encounters that leaves a lasting impact
- Spiritual renewal and awakening
- Breakthroughs and miracles
- Deeper understanding and wisdom
- Unwavering hope and peace
- A stronger sense of purpose and calling

Visits can be a catalyst for change, growth, and revelation. They can alter the course of individual lives and even the fate of nations, as seen in the examples above.

So, make your way to the conference. God will visit you there.
