The programmes involve pairing up unrelated cheetahs in an effort to retain the widest possible range of genes in the cheetah gene pool. Guests at Inverdoorn are able to view wild cheetahs on safari; personally encounter tame ones (strictly dependent on the weather); observe them go through their daily exercises and gain further insight – all in an enduring hope to save the cheetah.
