On Saturday, 5th September, Ev Thurston had the privilege of ministering at the annual men’s breakfast hosted by Brothers Keepers under the leadership of Ps Clayton Smith. The hall was filled with expectant men, hungry for the presence of God.

The sermon, titled “If Only Satan Knew” and drawn from 1 Corinthians 2:8, carried urgency and power. “None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (ESV)

From the very onset, testimonies flowed even before the Word was preached, signaling the tangible presence of God in the room. As the message was ministered, the call for salvation was made, and men responded wholeheartedly, stepping forward to surrender their lives to Jesus.

It did not end there. A second call was extended for general prayer, and many men flocked forward, desperate for change. The power of the Holy Spirit moved mightily, delivering men and breaking chains.

We give thanks to God for all He has done. Hallelujah!!!

Dr Barry Isaacs is sending out a heartfelt call to the Body of Christ in Kraaifontein to come together in unity and make themselves available to serve and participate in the upcoming Tent Crusade.

Evangelist Thurston Meyer from Johannesburg will be ministering each evening from 7:00–9:00 PM, from 5–9 October 2026, on the grounds of Scottsdene Secondary School.

This is an opportunity for churches, ministries and believers across Kraaifontein to stand together as one Body, serving the community, reaching the lost, and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is with great joy that we announce the successful completion of the Westbury Gospel Crusade 2026. The crusade was a resounding success, marked by the mighty hand of God at work among the community.

We are deeply thankful for the partnership with Acts Church Westdene. Ps Otis, Ps Claudine, and their team were an absolute pleasure and blessing to work alongside. Well done to Acts Church for their faithfulness and excellence.

The crusade began on Thursday evening, 13 August, and concluded on Saturday evening, 15 August. Evangelist Thurston ministered alongside Evangelist Samuel Murrombe and Evangelist Aryn Maurukira. God used His servants powerfully as they ministered the ABC of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The sermons were simple yet profound, and the Spirit of God confirmed His Word with power.

Souls were saved, people were delivered, healing was released, and believers received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Truly, we witnessed the fulfillment of the promise:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere, in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

All glory belongs to Jesus Christ, the risen Lord, who continues to draw hearts, bring healing, and transforms lives.

Today is a very special and significant day as I celebrate 19 years as a born again believer. On the 8th of July 2007, I surrendered my life to Christ at Rhema North Bible Church in Randburg under the powerful ministry of Pastor Ray McCauley. I am deeply grateful to God for saving me and for using Pastor Ray in my life. He was truly a man of God who preached the Gospel of Christ with simplicity, clarity and power.

Over these 19 years I have faced challenges, weathered storms, and walked through valleys of uncertainty and obscurity. Yet through it all I have seen the hand of God and experienced His grace strengthening me. Today I thank my Heavenly Father for directing me to Rhema North Bible Church all those years ago.

Now I stand preaching the Gospel of Christ, called to do the work of an Evangelist. Two lessons I’ve learnt from Pastor Ray remain with me. Always preach the Word of God, and always make a call for salvation at the end of every sermon, never taking for granted that everyone is saved.

Pastor Ted Pyle, who served under Pastor Ray McCauley, also played an instrumental role in my life through mentoring me. These men in my eyes are generals in the Kingdom of God.

“But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
2 Timothy 3:14‑15

Yesterday, Ev Thurston ministered at TAG Restoration Centre in Magaliesburg during their 10am service.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared with clarity, simplicity, and power. The men received the Word with eagerness and drew deeply from the message. We witnessed many young and old surrender their lives to Christ.

Following the call to salvation, we continued in prayer for various needs, and once again the Holy Spirit delivered men with power.
“O God, how extravagant is Your cherishing love! All mankind can find a hiding place under the shadow of Your wings.” Psalm 36:7

We extend heartfelt thanks to Ps Clinton and brother Earl for assisting Ev Thurston in the prayer line. We also commend Ps Patrick and Ps Samantha Golden for the remarkable work they are doing at the centre. We pray that God will continue to use you as a power couple, shining His light and advancing His Kingdom.
