This week at our bible clubs we shared a valuable tool with our kids. How to put on the armor of God. This is the best tool they have against spiritual and mental attacks. Through Christ we have the power to overcome and with his armor we have Victory!

Today, Lydia’s Mission employs 64 people across our ministries and programs. That number may seem small compared to the vast needs surrounding us, but each job represents something far greater than employment.

From Colorado to South Dakota, Ohio to Florida. Representing the Body of Christ in 6 different churches. We all come together for one purpose. To simply serve the Lord. This week our team will host vbs’s, pack food, farm and nurture relationships, and wrap it up with a special retreat for young boys! Do you remember going to a Bible camp as a child? If so, you likely have memories of that important time.
This team is our last for a while. We unfortunately had to postpone the July and August groups due to airfare prices. Please pray that we can get back to affordable trips soon and that Lord would direct the steps of those desiring to come.

Stay tuned. An exciting week starts now!

Recently we offered a special treat at our hope centers, hot dog lunches, and the kids are loving them. For many of these children, a fun meal like this is more than just a treat. It is a reminder that they are seen, cared for, and deeply loved.

Moments like these may seem small, but God uses them in big ways. Full hearts, full bellies, and another opportunity to share the love of Jesus. One hot dog at a time!

We have a special update to share from Lydia’s Mission.

Mitch Hildebrant has served this ministry with such faithfulness, humility, and love for the Lord. We are so thankful for the way he has poured into the people and the work here.

As we step into a new season, Mitch will be moving into a role coordinating our visiting mission teams. We are grateful that he will continue to walk alongside us in such a meaningful way.

“Mitch, thank you for your passionate heart, your hard work, and your dedication you have poured into Lydia’s Mission over the years. I have seen you as a friend not just an executive director. Thank you for being a part of the Lydia’s Mission family. I’m so grateful for the way God has provided through you and for the lasting impact you are leaving here at Lydia’s Mission Thanks for everything!”

Please join us in thanking Mitch and prayers for him as he follows where Jesus is leading. And stay tuned for our new director announcement coming soon.

Sometimes the gospel starts with something as small as an orange. 🍊

At our Hope Centers, many children come to us hungry. For some, the meal they receive may be the only one they eat that day. When we can place something extra in their hands, even a sweet orange to take home, it says something deeper: you are seen and you matter to us… but more importantly to Jesus.

Meeting physical needs opens the door to something even greater. It creates space to share the hope of Jesus and remind every child that they are deeply loved by Him and created with purpose.

A small gift can become a big reminder of God’s love. Please join us in praying for each child who received an orange 🍊.
