A Tribute to the previous CSN Chairperson

The Atlantis Community Stakeholder Network (CSN) had their Annual General Meeting (AGM 2026) on Saturday 13 June 2026. This event was identified with much enthusiasm by the attendees. For some committee members it was a first time, and they have enjoyed the discussions, engagements and the different inputs from community members. They even said that it was very interesting to know that the CSN can actually change the lives of many in the community if we all put our hands together.

Some attendees mentioned that they were quite impress with the new setup of the venue. They could clearly identify which sector is where and it was easy to get to the right seat. The setup in the venue must continue so can know who represents who and where you can take your concern that are specific to the sector.
The CSN would like to thank everyone who attended in who provided input in the proceedings. Let get Atlantis working.

It is with regret and sadness that we heard about the passing of Mr Michael Marote (senior). Mr Marote was the first chairperson of the Atlantis Community Stakeholder Network (CSN) and one of the founding members of the organization. His involvement in the community of Atlantis span over various sectors and organizations and he was known to many as someone that cares about the state of his community and was not scared to speak his mind.

The chairperson and the whole CSN team would like to express their sincere condolences to the family of Mr Marote and his friends. Take comfort in the knowledge that he was a man that contributed greatly to the life of his family and others with his involvement in the Atlantis community and the strides that we made as an organization.

Sala kakuhle Mr Marote!!!!

You will be surely missed, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!
