Sunday past we continued with our 2026 theme, Telios: Maturing in Christ.

Minister Nontobeko ministered on โ€œMaturity in Transmission: Completing the Purposes of God,โ€ reminding us that God never sees our lives in isolation, but through the lens of generations yet to come. The Kingdom of God has always been generational. What we build, nurture, and steward today has the power to impact those who come after us.

Through the life of Joshua, we see that spiritual maturity is not formed overnight but is cultivated through faithful service, consistency, and a personal walk with God. Before Joshua ever carried the mantle of leadership, he first learned to serve faithfully in community.

As believers, we are called to resist comparison, guard our hearts against offense, and remain fixed on Christ. Telios maturity requires us to keep our hands on the plow, persevere through challenges, and faithfully fulfill the assignment God has entrusted to us.

May we live with an awareness that our obedience extends beyond ourselves, leaving a legacy of faith that future generations can inherit and build upon.

๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ YOUTH DAY 2026 ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Today we honour the courage and sacrifice of the young people who paved the way for future generations. As we remember the past, we are reminded that the youth of today are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but the disciples of today.

May this generation rise with bold faith, unwavering conviction, and hearts fully surrendered to Christ.

Happy Youth Day ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Sunday past we continued our 2026 theme, Telios.
Ps Alfonso Page ministered on "Maturing in the Spirit", focusing on God's generational purpose in the earth.

Throughout Scripture, God continually reveals Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He does this because He is not merely the God of individuals; He is the God of generations. His covenant, purposes and promises extend beyond a single lifetime.

When God looks at us, He never sees us in isolation. He sees us in the context of His eternal purpose and through the lens of generations yet to come. Every life carries generational significance.

Abraham represents the fathers who have gone before us. Those who have built altars, walked by faith and established foundations. Their responsibility is to impart wisdom, faith and the knowledge of God to those who follow.

Isaac represents the pillars. Those who honour the sacrifices of the fathers while creating room for the next generation. Their responsibility is to preserve what has been built and steward the inheritance entrusted to them.

Jacob represents the next generation. Those who must take what has been entrusted to them and run further with it, ensuring that God's purposes continue long after they are gone.

Yet one of the greatest challenges of our time is found in Judges 2:10
"There arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel."
The tragedy was not that God stopped working. The tragedy was that a generation arose without a reference point for His faithfulness.
If we teach the next generation how to build careers but not how to pray, trust God and walk with Him, we have failed to pass on the most important inheritance.

The Church must once again become intentional about transmitting faith, testimony, worship, prayer, obedience and the knowledge of God from one generation to the next.
Every Abraham must raise an Isaac.
Every Isaac must make room for a Jacob.
Every Jacob must remember the God of Abraham and Isaac.
For the Kingdom of God advances when one generation faithfully hands the purposes of God to the next.
