Hi friends!

Cindy is home and settled in her new room.

Thank you to Franzi & Mark Myklebust for going above and beyond and for the loving use of their cottage, to facilitate her recovery, it is greatly appreciated !
Thank you to everyone for her lovely meals, all the beautiful messages and all the support from everyone.

Hi Friends and followers..
Cindy’s port was fitted successfully last night.
She will be discharged later today!
Thank you for all the prayers and kind words to the family, it is deeply appreciated.

Dear Friends
Great news! Cindy will be getting her permanent port put in at 8pm tonight.
We are also over the moon that her HB level has remarkably improved and that she is therefore ready for the implant
Please keep Cindy and her family in your prayers.
It has been requested not to message or call them with questions, but positive and encouraging messages are more than welcome to both Byron and Cindy.

Here's a quick update on Cindy's week💚

Cindy had 3 successful dialysis sessions 🙏
Her doctor mentioned that her temporary port could last 3-6 weeks, and she will hopefully be referred to Albert Luthuli for her permanent port fitting.

Sherri and Franzi met with a dietician who created a detailed meal plan based on her medical history, recent blood tests, and kidney function to help build her Hemoglobin and iron levels.
Those assigned to meals will be making meals following this diet 🥩🍝🍏
Aunty Viv will coordinate visitors for Cindy starting next week, so please reach out to her to arrange a visit,we appreciate your understanding that
Cindy will focus on getting stronger and managing her dialysis in the coming weeks.
Once her home is set up as a comfortable, hygienic, sterile environment, which Byron is working hard to do she will move back home.
Thank you all for your continued love and support for Cindy and Byron ❤️
