We came and we conquered. Senior Spellers from 4 High Schools closing the women's Month
Joe Gqabi Spelling Bee hosted the Curtin Finale, as we closed the women's Month with the seniors from 4 High School

The event was opened in prayer by Pst Ngqikasi who also shared words of encouragement to the spellers and parents alike, the Regional coordinator Mr L Bottoman welcome everyone and said to the spellers no matter the outcome they are all winners in his book. The event was honoured by the Honorable Mayor of Walter Sisulu Local Municipality Mam Vania Davids who also shared words of encouragement to the spellers and she set amongst the spellers.

It was an exciting event as spellers completed all the Championship words. The top 10 had to be decided via time trial were spellers had to spell as many words as they can in 1 minute 30 seconds, then 1 min the 30 seconds.

The regional Coordinator did the vote of thanx and the event was closed in prayer by one of the parent and after the singing started from Malcomess spellers as they celebrated their Champion

When is all been said and done, after all the negative talk, the criticism, the judgement we have pulled it through! This was the most emotional and tiring time as a youth empowerment Community leader.
