What is YQ Tour? ❤️
YQ Tour is an impactful initiative that seeks to equip and unlock opportunities for high school learners in disadvantaged areas of the Eastern Cape. We leverage young professionals and students from different fields to inspire, equip, and educate high school learners. Over the years, the campaign has yielded humbling and positive results by assisting learners with tertiary applications, bringing educational resources to rural schools, and contributing to producing graduates who are now changing the narrative of their families and communities.
The Youth Quake Tour educational initiative focuses on:
• Career guidance.
• Encouraging learners to make better everyday choices through life skills presentations and discussions.
• Assisting learners with tertiary applications and providing support after submission.
• Empowering learners to make informed career choices by providing relevant information and guidance.
• Giving learners the opportunity to interact with relevant stakeholders, including SETAs, the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), young professionals, and university students.
• Providing information on bursary opportunities and financial aid support.
Today, two representatives from Youth Quake (YQ) UFH Alice Campus proudly represented our campus on the YQ Tour, serving, inspiring, and empowering the next generation of leaders through this impactful initiative. 🥳💃❤️
