THE ALCHEMY OF DIGNITY, LWAZI MBAMBO FOUNDATION & PARTNERS DELIVER SCHOOL SHOES AND HOPE TO LOVEDALE PRIMARY

ALICE, LOVEDALE, SOUTH AFRICA – Friday, 29 May 2026. In the quiet arithmetic of human progress the smallest variables often yield the greatest sums. Today, the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation (LMF) reaffirms a core truth that access to education is not merely a pedagogical contract but a moral covenant. Through our school humanitarian development initiatives designed to forge corridors of opportunity in education, economic empowerment and leadership we move beyond charity toward sustainable transformation.

Under the aegis of the Prince Iminathi Mbambo our Young Men's Ambassador jointly with the Girl Child Ambassador, Princess Zenazi Mbambo programs which embody the Foundation's holistic vision. Together they extended out a hand of solidarity to Mr. Azile Tsewu, a distinguished public speaker, life coach and philanthropist whose life’s work centres on guiding young men, championing education and dissolving the barriers that fracture communities.

At a touching ceremony held this afternoon at Lovedale Primary School the collaborative partners distributed school shoes to vulnerable learners, an intervention that addresses both the physiological barrier of cold and the psychological weight of exclusion. In his address to the young leaders, Mr. Tsewu delivered a stirring philosophical charge:

"You are not the sum of your circumstances. You are the seed of a future no one has yet imagined. Let no voice diminish you, no hardship define you. Today you receive shoes to walk your own path, tomorrow you will build roads for others."

His words at once rigorous and tender, reminded each child that external narratives of limitation hold no authority over an unbowed spirit.

From the Patron and Founder Mr. Lwazi Mbambo SA pedagogical standpoint, research consistently affirms that material deprivation, particularly inadequate footwear, correlates with increased absenteeism, reduced concentration and diminished self worth. The Foundation views this intervention not as an isolated gesture but as a data informed, dignity centred strategy to unlock cognitive potential. A learner who stands without shame stands ready to learn. With a solid voice the Patron said, We loves you and so is God bantwana bam.

The Foundation extends its profound appreciation to Mr. Mbulelo Thomas, Principal of Lovedale Primary who in a post event interview remarked:

"What the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation has done today is not something our learners will forget for the rest of their lives. The impact is immeasurable, not only on their feet but on their hearts. We are deeply grateful."

Principal Thomas's words underscore a vital reality, sustainable change requires partnership between foundations, schools, families and moral leaders like Mr. Tsewu.

The heartwarming distribution itself was executed with extraordinary compassion by Ms. Nosibabalo Mangesana, Ms. Azola Ntoni and friends of the Foundation Ms. Nonceba Tenza. As winter's chill tightens its grip these women moved among the learners not merely handing over shoes but kneeling to meet young eyes, offering words of warmth and reminding each child that on these cold days they are neither forgotten nor alone.

The Lwazi Mbambo Foundation does not seek applause. We seek replication. We call upon corporations, government entities and civil society to recognise that leadership development begins not in boardrooms but in classrooms and that economic empowerment is hollow without the foundational dignity of a warm foot, a supported spirit and a community that refuses to look away.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF The FOUNDER & PATRON, LWAZI Mbambo FOUNDATION

On this auspicious occasion of Mother's Day I speak not only as the Founder and Patron of the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation but as a humble observer of the quiet, indefatigable force that shapes the very sinews of our society, the mother(uMama).

Today I undertook a 30km run not as a feat of athleticism but as a symbolic pilgrimage of gratitude. I dedicated every stride to the mothers who form the backbone of our homes and the silent architects of stronger communities. The path was arduous, marked by relentless headwinds that tested both body and spirit. Yet in every gust I carried the thought of you, of the sleepless nights, the silent tears, the unheralded labour you perform with grace. It was that thought of recognition which carried me to the finish line.

From my life journey school of thought perspective, no policy, no peace accord, no economic blueprint succeeds without the foundational work of nurturing the work you do daily. From my upper-room domain standpoint, resilience theory teaches us that sustainable communities are built on networks of care and you are that network. As I submarine we are reminded that the first ethical relationship we encounter is that of mother and child, a bond that teaches us love, duty and endurance.

So this run was for you. Not to celebrate you one day but to publicly note with the full weight of this Foundation’s mandate that we see you, we honour you and we strive to mirror your sacrifice in our work.

May your hearts feel as supported as the homes you uphold.

With profound respect and solidarity as I remain humbled before yourselves,

Media Statement
From the Desk of the Patron of the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation
March 8, 2026

On this momentous occasion of International Women’s Day, the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation joins the global community in celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women across all spheres of life. Today, we honor the resilience, brilliance and unwavering spirit of women who continue to break barriers, inspire change and shape a more equitable world.

Under the banner of our foundation’s mantra, “Building Stronger Communities” we recognize that the empowerment of women is not just a moral imperative but a cornerstone of sustainable development. Women, as mothers, sisters, wives and friends are the heartbeat of our communities. Their love, dedication and leadership are invaluable forces that drive progress and foster unity.

This year as we reflect on the theme of gender equality we reaffirm our commitment to philanthropic efforts that uplift women and girls. Through community development initiatives we strive to create opportunities for education, economic empowerment and leadership development. We believe that when women thrive entire communities flourish.

The Lwazi Mbambo Foundation is proud to stand alongside women in their journey toward achieving their fullest potential. We celebrate the trailblazers who have paved the way and the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to nurture, support and uplift those around them. Their contributions are a testament to the power of compassion, collaboration and collective action.

As we mark this day, let us all recommit to advancing gender equality, not just in words but in deeds. Let us champion policies and practices that ensure women have equal access to opportunities, resources and representation. Let us celebrate the warmth, strength and love that women bring into our lives and communities every single day.

To every woman, we say: You are seen. You are valued. You are loved. Your contributions are the foundation of a brighter more inclusive future. Together let us continue building stronger communities, one empowered woman at a time.

Happy International Women’s Day

With warm regards and unwavering commitment,
Lwazi Mbambo

: A Commendation for Exemplary Service, The Eskom Response Team

From: Lwazi Mbambo, Patron of the Lwazi Mbambo Foundation and CEO of SLIBZ Solutions
Date: 5 February 2025, Wednesday

In an era where public service is so often scrutinized, it is both a privilege and a profound duty to highlight exemplars of operational excellence and civic commitment. Today I wish to publicly acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable responsiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the Eskom field team assigned to our recent service interruption.

This commendation stems from a direct experience following the reporting of a critical infrastructure fault, the Eskom dispatch and technical units executed their duties with a level of efficiency. Within a matter of hours a dedicated team was deployed on-site, diagnosing the issue with precision and effecting a resolution with commendable alacrity.

Their actions transcend mere technical repair. They represent a steadfast dedication to the principles of reliability and accountability. In a nation striving for consistent progress such episodes of seamless coordination and swift ex*****on are foundational. They restore not only power but also public trust and confidence in our essential institutions.

To the engineers, technicians, logistics coordinators and all unsung professionals who comprised this response unit you are the truest architects of resilience. Your work in the field is a critical sinew in the body of our national infrastructure. You operate with a quiet diligence that powers homes, fuels enterprises and sustains the very rhythm of community life.

The Lwazi Mbambo Foundation through its work understands deeply that sustainable development is built upon such pillars of consistent and professional service. Therefore, it is both appropriate and necessary to "give you your flowers" to offer this bouquet of public gratitude.

You have set a standard. You have demonstrated that with proactive systems and a dedicated workforce, challenges are not merely managed but masterfully overcome. For this you have my deepest personal appreciation and the respect of our community(Ku-Ntselamanzi).

Let this serve as a testament your professionalism is seen, your diligence is valued and your contribution is indispensable, If you know them do share this as is.

With high regard and renewed confidence,

Lwazi Mbambo
