ADE is currently assisting the families of the former residents of Nkqantosi in Sheshegu, Alice, that were forcibly removed to live in other parts of Sheshegu. We are in the process of consolidating relevant information to follow up on previously submitted claims. Along with this, we are lodging new claims for some families who were unable to submit their claims.

Let us be clear, these are the claims for the damages of property (households that had to be demolished) due to the forced removals, under the so-called "TRUST"...

Due to rampant poverty escalated by glaring unemployment of youth, mid-aged men and women, ADE is engaged in serving Sheshegu in Alice, with soup and or meals. This is our hope to eradicate hunger in our community.

During community members’ gathering who come for the soup/meals – different engagements ranging from storytelling, oral history and indoor games are rolled out for the benefit of changing the lives of many people living in unpleasant conditions.

ADE’s Aloe Trans Conservation Project ----- This is one of our poverty alleviation interventions which is about replanting aloe for conservation. This initiative is geared towards creating jobs across all the villages of Sheshegu in Alice; from youth to the oldest abled-bodied labourer.

Nabanina onomnqweno uvumelekile ukuba angafika azokufumana isidlo esifumaneka kusukela ngentsimbi ye 11:00 kusasa ukuya kutsho ngentsimbi ye 14:00 emva kwelanga.

Phambi kokuba kudliwe zikhona iinkqubo zokuhlala, ezifana nokubaliswa kwamabali, iincoko ngezinto ezahlukeneyo, njalo njalo.

Yiza kwangethuba uzokwabelana nabanye abahlali uchithe nedithukuthezi.

In Sheshegu, ADE works under the auspices of the Zulu Traditional Council, as the Council's endorsed entity to act as a dynamic vehicle to assist in the development of Sheshegu, Alice.
