Funded by , and within the Rehabilitation of life-saving Water Sources Project, continues to implement the activity of constructing water tanks and carrying out restoration and extension works to ensure safe and sustainable access to water in the districts of (Al-Rujm - Shibam Kawkaban) Al-Mahwit Governorate.

continues to implement activities for the supply and installation of a solar-powered pumping unit to serve the Al-Dhahar area and its surrounding villages – Ar-Rujum District, Al-Mahwit Governorate.

إدراكاً لأهمية #الاستدامة في المشاريع الإنسانية، تم اعتماد لتشغيل مصادر المياه، بما يحقق ويعزز قدرة المجتمعات على التكيف مع آثار وضمان مستقبل آمن ومستدام للأجيال القادمة.

بتمويل من منظمة كوردايد، وضمن مشروع إعادة تأهيل مصادر المياه ، بدأت للتنمية والتطوير #نبض تنفيذ تدخلات حيوية لتعزيز الوصول الآمن والمستدام للمياه من خلال توريد وتركيب وحدة ضخ تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية بانتاجية اجمالية (330 لتر/ دقيقه) على مرحلتين لتغطية منطقة الظهار ومحلاتها – مديرية الرجم، محافظة المحويت.

يتم التنفيذ بإشراف الفريق الهندسي وهيئة مياه الريف والجهات ذات العلاقة، وفق معايير إنسانية وهندسية عالية الجودة، بما يعزز #الصمود المجتمعي، يحد من الأمراض المنقولة عبر #المياه، ويحسّن حياة النساء والأطفال بشكل خاص.

Recognizing the importance of in humanitarian projects, have been adopted as a strategic option to operate water sources, ensuring and strengthening communities’ capacity to adapt to the impacts of and to guarantee a safe and sustainable future for generations to come.

With generous funding from Cordaid, and within the Rehabilitation of life-saving Water Sources Project , has begun implementing vital interventions to enhance safe and sustainable access to water through the supply and installation of a solar-powered pumping unit with a total output of (660 liters/minute) in two phases, covering Al-Dhahar area and its surrounding villages – Ar-Rujum District, Al-Mahwit Governorate.

Implementation is carried out under the supervision of the engineering team, the Rural Water Authority, and relevant stakeholders, in accordance with high humanitarian and engineering standards, thereby strengthening , reducing waterborne diseases, and improving the lives of women and children in particular.

المياه حق أساسي من ، حرمان الأسر من المياه الآمنة يعني معاناة يومية تمسّ والكرامة الإنسانية، خصوصاً في المجتمعات الريفية الأكثر هشاشة بمحافظة المحويت.

بتمويل من منظمة كوردايد، وضمن مشروع إعادة تأهيل مصادر المياه ، بدأت للتنمية والتطوير #نبض تنفيذ تدخلات حيوية لتعزيز الوصول الآمن والمستدام للمياه.

أبرز الأنشطة

- إنشاء بسعة 100 م³ في منطقة الصرحة – مديرية شبام كوكبان.

- إنشاء خزان تجميعي بسعة 50 م³ في منطقة الضبرة – مديرية الرجم.

- أعمال ترميم وتمديدات لضمان الاستخدام الآمن والمستدام.

يتم التنفيذ بإشراف الفريق الهندسي وهيئة مياه الريف، وفق معايير إنسانية وهندسية عالية الجودة، بما يعزز الصمود المجتمعي ويحد من الأمراض المنقولة عبر #المياه، ويحسّن حياة النساء والأطفال بشكل خاص.

Depriving families of safe water means a daily struggle that affects and human dignity, especially in the most vulnerable rural communities of Al-Mahwit Governorate.

With generous funding from Cordaid, and within the Rehabilitation of life-saving Water Sources Project , has begun implementing vital interventions to enhance safe and sustainable access to water.

Key Activities:

- Construction of a with a capacity of 100 m³ in Al-Sarhah – Shibam Kawkaban District.

- Construction of a water reservoir with a capacity of 50 m³ in Al-Dhubrah – Ar-Rujum District.

- Rehabilitation and installation works to ensure safe and sustainable use.

Implementation is carried out under the supervision of the engineering team and the Rural Water Authority, in line with high humanitarian and engineering standards, thereby strengthening community resilience, reducing waterborne diseases, and improving the lives of women and children in particular.
