TYF seeks to support socio-economic interventions to create and secure adequate livelihood opportunities for members of society, and enable them to thrive, grow and participate in making immediate and long-term change, allowing everyone to live in peace and competence. مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF) تدشن توزيع مساعدات إيوائية وصحية للنازحين في الضالع

بدعم من صندوق اليمن الإنساني (YHF)، دشنت مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF)، توزيع مساعدات إيوائية طارئة للأسر النازحة والمجتمعات المتضررة من النزاع في مديرية الضالع بمحافظة الضالع، وذلك بالتزامن مع قدوم فصل الشتاء وتخفيفاً لمعاناتهم الإنسانية.

وشمل التدشين توزيع 500 حقيبة إيوائية المتكاملة (تحتوي على فرش، بطانيات، أدوات طبخ ومنزلية، وناموسيات، .... ) يستفيد منها 3500 فرد من النازحين والمجتمع المضيف. كما تم توزيع 357 فلتر مياه مخصصة لمخيمات النازحين في المديرية لتحسين جودة مياه الشرب ويستفيد منها 2500 نازح.

حضر التدشين الدكتور رضوان الكحلي، مدير الوحدة التنفيذية لإدارة مخيمات النازحين بالمحافظة، والأستاذ عادل أحمد علي الجمري، مدير عام مكتب الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل بمحافظة الضالع، ووكيل أول محافظة الضالع صالح أحمد صالح ، والعميد نصر التهامي وكيل محافظة الضالع لشؤون الدفاع والأمن ، إلى جانب ممثلي مؤسسة تمدين شباب.

يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن مشروع "المساعدة المتكاملة لإنقاذ الأرواح في مجال النقد متعدد الأغراض والمأوى/المواد غير الغذائية والمياه والإصحاح البيئي للمجتمعات المتضررة من النزاع في مديرية الضالع".

Tamedin Youth Foundation (TYF) Launches the Distribution of Shelter and WASH Assistance to Displaced People in Al-Dhale’e

With support from Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Tamedin Youth Foundation (TYF) launched the distribution of emergency shelter assistance to displaced families and conflict-affected communities in Al-Dhale’e District, Al-Dhale’e Governorate. The initiative coincides with the arrival of the winter season and aims to alleviate their humanitarian suffering.

The launch included the distribution of 500 comprehensive shelter kits containing mattresses, blankets, cooking and household utensils, mosquito nets, and other essential items. The assistance will benefit 3,500 displaced people and members of the host community. In addition, 357 water filters were distributed to displacement camps in the district to improve the quality of drinking water, benefiting 2,500 displaced people.

The launch was attended by Dr. Ridwan Al-Kahli, Director of the Executive Unit for the Management of Displacement Camps in the governorate; Mr. Adel Ahmed Ali Al-Jamri, Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Al-Dhale’e Governorate; First Deputy Governor Saleh Ahmed Saleh; Deputy Governor Nasr Qasim; and representatives of Tamedin Youth Foundation.

This activity is part of the project “Integrated Life-Saving Assistance in the Areas of Multipurpose Cash, Shelter/Non-Food Items, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Conflict-Affected Communities in Al-Dhale’e District.”

في 2026، نؤمن أن القراءة والكتابة والحساب ليست مجرد مهارات أساسية، بل خطوات نحو الاستقلال والتمكين الاقتصادي وصناعة مستقبل أفضل.

من خلال مشروع التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة الريفية ومجتمعاتها، تعمل منظمة الدي آر سي (DRC) بالشراكة مع مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF)، وبدعم من الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (BMZ) وبنك التنمية الألماني (KfW) ، على تمكين 1,500 امرأة في المسيمير وردفان بمحافظة لحج، وموزع والخوخة في الساحل الغربي، من خلال التدريب في محو الأمية والمهارات الحياتية، إلى جانب مهارات الأعمال والزراعة المتكيفة مع المناخ والادخار والوصول إلى الأسواق.

محو الأمية تمكّن، والمهارات تفتح الفرص، والتمكين يبني مجتمعات أكثر صموداً.

On International Literacy Day 2026, we believe that reading, writing, and numeracy are not merely basic skills, but steps toward independence, economic empowerment, and a better future.

Through the Economic Empowerment of Rural Women and Their Communities project, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), in partnership with Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF), and with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and KfW Development Bank, is empowering 1,500 women in Al-Musaymir and Radfan in Lahj Governorate, as well as Mozaa and Al-Khokha on the West Coast.

The project provides training in literacy and life skills, alongside business skills, climate-smart agriculture, savings, and access to markets.

Literacy empowers, skills open doors, and empowerment builds more resilient communities.

توزيع 900 حقيبة مدرسية ودعم التعليم الدامج للطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في مأرب

لدعم حملة ، مع انطلاق العام الدراسي الجديد في #اليمن 2026–2027، وتعزيز فرص الوصول إلى التعليم للأطفال الأكثر احتياجاً، مع إيلاء أولوية للطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، والنازحين، والمتضررين، والأسر الأشد ضعفاً.

دشّنت مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF)، وبدعم من صندوق التعليم لا ينتظر (ECW)، وبحضور نائب وزير التربية والتعليم، الدكتور علي العباب ، توزيع 900 حقيبة مدرسية مع المستلزمات الدراسية على الطلاب والطالبات من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة والنازحين والمتضررين والأسر الأشد ضعفاً في محافظة مأرب.

ويأتي هذا الدعم ضمن تدخلات مشروع "الاستجابة الطارئة للنزوح والأزمات والتغيرات المناخية في اليمن – الاستجابة الطارئة الأولى (FER)"، الذي يهدف إلى دعم استمرارية التعليم والوصول الآمن والمنصف إلى الخدمات التعليمية للأطفال الأكثر تضرراً من الأزمات.

كما يأتي هذا التدخل استكمالاً لجهود سابقة لدعم الطلاب والطالبات من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في محافظة مأرب، حيث سبق أن تم دعم مدرسة عرش بلقيس لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بمديرية المدينة بـ6 شاشات ذكية، إلى جانب توفير سماعات أذن مخصصة للطلاب ضعاف السمع، بما يسهم في تعزيز التعليم الدامج، وتحسين البيئة التعليمية، وتمكين الطلاب من المشاركة والتعلم وفق احتياجاتهم.

وتسهم الحقائب والمستلزمات المدرسية في تخفيف الأعباء المالية عن الأسر، ومساعدة الأطفال على بدء العام الدراسي بالاحتياجات الأساسية التي تمكنهم من الانتظام في التعليم ومواصلة تحصيلهم الدراسي بكرامة.

كما يمثل توفير التجهيزات والوسائل التعليمية المخصصة للطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة خطوة مهمة نحو تعزيز التعليم الدامج، وتهيئة بيئة تعليمية تراعي احتياجاتهم وتمنحهم فرصاً أكثر إنصافاً للمشاركة والتعلم.

Distribution of 900 School Bags and Support for Inclusive Education for Students with Special Needs in Marib

As part of the campaign, coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2026–2027 in , and with the aim of expanding access to education for the most vulnerable children—with priority given to students with special needs, displaced children, affected communities, and the most vulnerable families—Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF), with support from Education Cannot Wait (ECW) and in the presence of Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Ali Al-Abab, launched the distribution of 900 school bags and educational supplies to male and female students with special needs, displaced students, affected children, and students from the most vulnerable families in Marib Governorate.

This support is part of the interventions under the project “Emergency Response to Displacement, Crises and Climate Change in Yemen – First Emergency Response (FER),” which aims to support the continuity of education and ensure safe and equitable access to educational services for children most affected by crises.

The intervention also builds on previous efforts to support male and female students with special needs in Marib Governorate. In an earlier initiative, Arsh Balqis School for Students with Special Needs in Al-Madinah District received six smart screens, in addition to specialized headphones for students with hearing impairments. These contributions help strengthen inclusive education, improve the learning environment, and enable students to participate and learn according to their individual needs.

The school bags and educational supplies help ease the financial burden on families and enable children to begin the new academic year with the essential materials they need to attend school regularly and continue their education with dignity.

Providing specialized equipment and educational tools for students with special needs is also an important step toward strengthening inclusive education and creating a learning environment that responds to their needs and provides them with more equitable opportunities to participate and learn.

Together, we can ensure that every child in Yemen has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.

توفير سماعات طبية لطلاب من ذوي الإعاقة السمعية في مأرب

وزّعت مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF) 83 سماعة طبية على طلاب وطالبات من ذوي الإعاقة السمعية في عدد من المدارس المستهدفة بمحافظة مأرب، بدعم من صندوق التعليم لا ينتظر (ECW).

وجاء توزيع السماعات بعد إجراء فحوصات سمعية متخصصة وتخطيط سمعي للمستفيدين، بهدف تقييم قدراتهم السمعية وتحديد احتياجات كل حالة، بما يضمن توفير الأجهزة الملائمة وتمكين الطلاب من الاستفادة منها داخل البيئة التعليمية.

ويستهدف هذا التدخل الذي يأتي في إطار مشروع «الاستجابة الطارئة للنزوح والأزمات الناتجة عن تغير المناخ »، تعزيز التعليم الشامل والمنصف، والحد من العوائق التي قد تحول دون مشاركة الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة في العملية التعليمية، ومساعدتهم على التفاعل بصورة أفضل داخل الفصول الدراسية.

ولا يقتصر أثر توفير السماعات الطبية على تحسين القدرة على السمع، بل يسهم في تعزيز مشاركة الطلاب داخل الصف، وتحسين قدرتهم على متابعة الدروس والتواصل مع المعلمين والزملاء، ودعم استمرارهم في التعليم.

كما يأتي هذا التدخل ضمن حزمة من الاستجابات التي ينفذها المشروع لدعم الأطفال الأكثر احتياجاً، ولا سيما المتأثرين بالنزوح والأزمات، من خلال توفير خدمات ومستلزمات تعليمية مساندة تساعد على جعل المدرسة بيئة أكثر شمولًا وقدرة على الاستجابة لاحتياجات جميع الأطفال.

With Support from Education Cannot Wait, Hearing Aids Provided to Students with Hearing Disabilities in Marib

Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) distributed 83 hearing aids to male and female students with hearing disabilities in several targeted schools in Marib Governorate, with support from Education Cannot Wait (ECW).

The hearing aids were distributed following specialized hearing examinations and audiological assessments for the beneficiaries. These procedures were conducted to evaluate their hearing abilities and identify the specific needs of each case, ensuring that appropriate devices were provided and enabling the students to benefit from them in the educational environment.

The intervention is being implemented as part of the project titled “Emergency Response to Displacement and Crises Resulting from Climate Change.” It aims to promote inclusive and equitable education, reduce barriers that may prevent children with disabilities from participating in the learning process, and help them engage more effectively in the classroom.

Providing hearing aids not only improves students’ ability to hear, but also contributes to increasing their classroom participation, enhancing their ability to follow lessons and communicate with teachers and peers, and supporting their continued education.

This intervention is part of a broader package of responses implemented by the project to support children most in need, particularly those affected by displacement and crises. These efforts include providing educational support services and supplies that help make schools more inclusive and better equipped to respond to the needs of all children.

اختُتمت اليوم في عدن أعمال اللقاء الوطني لتسريع تنفيذ التزامات الصفقة الكبرى في اليمن لعام 2026م، الذي نظمته مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF) وجمعية رعاية الأسرة اليمنية (YFCA)، بالشراكة مع منظمة أوكسفام، وبتيسير من مبادرة توطين العمل الإنساني في اليمن (YLI)، ضمن مشروع التحول في النظام الإنساني من خلال القيادة الإنسانية المحلية (HST-LHL).

ثلاثة أيام من الحوار والعمل المشترك
وعلى مدى ثلاثة أيام، جمع اللقاء ممثلين عن المبادرات والائتلافات والجهات الفاعلة في مسار التوطين وإصلاح المنظومة الإنسانية في اليمن، لمراجعة خطط العمل، واستعراض الإنجازات والفجوات، وتحديد التحديات وأولويات التسريع، بما يتوافق مع التزامات الصفقة الكبرى ،وخطة عمل المجموعة المرجعية الوطنية (NRG).

وركزت جلسات اللقاء على الانتقال من تشخيص التحديات إلى تحديد نقاط التأثير والحلول العملية، مع تعزيز استخدام الأدلة والبيانات في دعم عملية الإصلاح والمساءلة.

مخرجات عملية لتعزيز القيادة المحلية
وأسفرت أعمال اللقاء عن عدد من المخرجات، أبرزها تحديث خطط العمل، وتحديد أولويات التسريع، ووضع إجراءات ومسارات عمل مشتركة، وتوضيح الأدوار والمسؤوليات بين المبادرات والائتلافات، إلى جانب تطوير مدخلات قائمة على الأدلة لدعم المراجعة الوطنية وتنفيذ التزامات الصفقة الكبرى.

وفي ختام اللقاء، أكد المشاركون أهمية مواصلة العمل الجماعي لتعزيز القيادة المحلية وصنع القرار القائم على الأدلة، وتطوير شراكات أكثر إنصافاً، وتحويل التزامات الصفقة الكبرى من مبادئ إلى إجراءات ونتائج قابلة للقياس والمتابعة.

اليمن نحو مرحلة جديدة من تسريع الإصلاح الإنساني
ويأتي انعقاد اللقاء في إطار توجه نحو مرحلة جديدة من التسريع، تستند إلى نتائج المراجعة الوطنية لتنفيذ التزامات الصفقة الكبرى في اليمن، وإلى الأدلة والخبرات المحلية، بهدف تعزيز المواءمة بين المبادرات الوطنية والأطر الدولية، وتطوير حلول جماعية تسهم في بناء نظام إنساني أكثر استجابة للسياق اليمني، وأكثر إنصافاً في القيادة والشراكة وصنع القرار.
كما يسعى هذا المسار إلى تعزيز قدرة الفاعلين المحليين على الإسهام في صياغة أولويات الإصلاح الإنساني، وإيصال الأدلة المستمدة من السياق اليمني إلى عمليات صنع القرار على المستويين الوطني والدولي.

National Grand Bargain Meeting Concludes with Joint Plans to Strengthen Local Leadership in Yemen

The National Meeting to Accelerate the Implementation of the Grand Bargain Commitments in Yemen for 2026 concluded today in Aden. The meeting was organized by Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) and the Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA), in partnership with Oxfam and facilitated by the Yemen Localization Initiative (YLI), as part of the Humanitarian System Transformation through Locally Led Humanitarian Leadership (HST-LHL) project.

Three Days of Dialogue and Joint Action
Over the course of three days, the meeting brought together representatives of initiatives, coalitions, and stakeholders engaged in localization and humanitarian system reform in Yemen. Participants reviewed action plans, presented achievements and identified gaps, and defined challenges and acceleration priorities in line with the Grand Bargain commitments and the action plan of the National Reference Group (NRG).

The meeting sessions focused on moving beyond the diagnosis of challenges toward identifying leverage points and practical solutions. They also emphasized the use of evidence and data to support humanitarian reform and accountability processes.

Practical Outcomes to Strengthen Local Leadership
The meeting produced a number of practical outcomes, most notably updated action plans, clearly defined acceleration priorities, and jointly developed actions and workstreams. It also clarified the roles and responsibilities of the various initiatives and coalitions, while generating evidence-based inputs to support the national review and the implementation of the Grand Bargain commitments.

Toward a New Phase of Humanitarian Reform
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of sustaining collective efforts to strengthen local leadership and evidence-based decision-making, develop more equitable partnerships, and translate the Grand Bargain commitments from principles into measurable actions and results that can be monitored and followed up.

Yemen Moves Toward a New Phase of Accelerated Humanitarian Reform
The meeting took place as part of a broader move toward a new phase of acceleration, guided by the findings of the national review of the implementation of the Grand Bargain commitments in Yemen, as well as by local evidence and expertise. The aim is to strengthen alignment between national initiatives and international frameworks and to develop collective solutions that contribute to building a humanitarian system that is more responsive to the Yemeni context and more equitable in terms of leadership, partnership, and decision-making.

This process also seeks to strengthen the capacity of local actors to contribute to shaping humanitarian reform priorities and to ensure that evidence rooted in the Yemeni context informs decision-making processes at both the national and international levels.

في عدن ، وخلال الفترة من 30 أغسطس وحتى 1 سبتمبر 2026، جمع اللقاء الوطني لتسريع تنفيذ التزامات الصفقة الكبرى 2026 ، الذي نظمته مؤسسة تمدين شباب (TYF) بالشراكة مع منظمة أوكسفام، وبتيسير من مبادرة التوطين اليمنية (YLI)، ضمن مشروع التحول في النظام الإنساني من خلال القيادة الإنسانية المحلية (HST-LHL) ممثلين عن المبادرات والائتلافات والجهات الفاعلة في مسار التوطين والإصلاح الإنساني، بهدف تحويل الالتزامات من مبادئ إلى إجراءات قابلة للتنفيذ والمتابعة، وتعزيز دور الجهات المحلية في قيادة الاستجابة وصنع القرار.

Towards Humanitarian Action Led by Local Expertise

Three days of dialogue, knowledge exchange, challenge analysis, and the search for practical solutions to accelerate the implementation of the Grand Bargain commitments in Yemen.

In Aden, from ]30 August to 1 September 2026], the]National Gathering to Accelerate the Implementation of the 2026 Grand Bargain Commitments brought together representatives of initiatives, coalitions, and stakeholders engaged in localization and humanitarian reform. The gathering was organized by Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) in partnership with Oxfam and facilitated by the Yemen Localization Initiative (YLI) as part of the Humanitarian System Transformation through Local Humanitarian Leadership (HST-LHL) project.

The gathering aimed to translate commitments from principles into actionable and monitorable measures, while strengthening the role of local actors in leading the response and shaping decision-making.
