Amid Yemen’s prolonged humanitarian and food crisis, efforts are increasingly focused on empowering vulnerable communities with the means to withstand daily challenges moving beyond short-term aid toward sustainable .
Thru , villagers of Beit AlSuraimi & Dar Khalban villages, Al-Bayda, are actively engaged in rehabilitating agricultural terraces, improving rural access roads and setting up Village Saving and Loans Association .
The impact goes beyond providing temporary income to helping to restore agricultural land and productivity, strengthen local food production, and improve access to water sources and markets. By reconnecting people to their land, the project supports more stable and dignified in one of ’s most fragile settings.
This initiative is part of the Food Security Resilience Response Project in Yemen , funded by World Bank Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan & Pakistan thru UNDP Yemen reflecting a development approach that places people at the center of recovery.
