وتعتبر الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية فرع صنعاء اول جامعة على مستوى اليمن تنظم حدث تيدكس جامعي
وقد دخلت فعالية تيدكس لأول مرة اليمن عام 2012 متمثلة بفعالية تيدكس صنعاء التي حازت على شهرة كبيرة بين اوساط
المجتمع واستمرت لمدة ثلاث سنوات. واستمرت فعاليات تيدكس محلية أخرى صغرى وكبرى بالحصول في صنعاء ومدن يمنية أخرى.
حدث تيدكس الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية في صنعاء هو حدث جامعي فريق منظميه والقائمين عليه جميعهم من طلاب, أساتذة وإداريي الجامعة.
وهدفه هو اكتشاف الأفكار والإبداعات الكامنة في أفراد اسرة الجامعة وإخراجها ليراها العالم.
حدث تيدكس مهتم بجميع المواضيع من علوم, فنون, ترفيه, تكنولوجيا .. إلخ ما عدا المواضيع الدينية والسياسية وتلك المواضيع التي تهدف إلى نشر محتوى تجاري معين. يتخلل حدث تيدكس ايضاً العديد من الفقرات الفنية بهدف إخراج القدرات الكامنة لدى المجتمع الذي يقام فيه الحدث.
يمكن رؤية الحدث إما بالتقديم للحضور إليه شخصياً أو متابعة البث المباشر للحدث وقت الحدق أو مشاهدة ما القاه المتحدثون على صفحات مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي مثل الفيسبوك واليوتيوب. Event: TEDxLIUSanaa

TEDx LIU Sana'a is locally organized event licensed by the original TED organization. The Lebanese International University in Sana'a is the first in Yemen to organize this event at a university level. The people showed great interest in this event and it grew famous. TEDx Sana'a has been going on for 3 years now, and more and more TEDx events began to appear in other cities around the country such as TEDx Taiz, TEDx Aden, and TEDxYouth@Bab Al-Yemen. TEDx LIUSanaa is a university hosted event, where all the organizers and speakers are students, professors, and administrators. The goal of this event is discovering the creative ideas that the university's units have and exposing these creative ideas and thoughts to the world. TEDx events' talks cover all sorts of topics such as science, art, entertainment, technology etc. with an exception to topics related to politics, religion, and anything that may include promotions to a particular product or service. TEDx events also include many artistic shows with the aim of showing the capabilities of the community the event is being held in.
