تعزيز القدرات الوطنية للاستجابة للطوارئ الصحية

بدعم من المفوضية الأوروبية للمساعدات الإنسانية والحماية المدنية، نظمت منظمة الصحة العالمية ووزارة الصحة العامة والسكان دورة تدريبية مكثفة لمدة ثلاثة أيام، تهدف إلى تعزيز تنسيق وإدارة فرق الطوارئ الطبية في #اليمن.

سيطبق المشاركون خلال الدورة إجراءات التشغيل القياسية الوطنية الخاصة بهذه الفرق، وذلك من خلال تمارين عملية تغطي دورة الانتشار بالكامل، بدءاً من مرحلتي التفعيل والنشر، مروراً بالعمليات الميدانية، وصولاً إلى إنتهاء الانتشار والدروس المستفادة ما بعد الانتشار.

Strengthening national capacity to respond when health emergencies strike.

With support from EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Public Health and Population are conducting a three-day training to strengthen the coordination and management of emergency medical teams (EMTs) in .

Participants are applying national EMT standard operating procedures through practical exercises covering the full deployment cycle, from activation and mobilization to field operations, demobilization and post-deployment learning.

لقد ترك هؤلاء منازلهم خلفهم، وهم الآن في أمسّ الحاجة إلى الرعاية والحماية والدعم.

تواجه الأسر النازحة في مخيم الفردوس #بعدن احتياجات عاجلة، أبرزها محدودية الوصول إلى الخدمات الصحية الأساسية.
وخلال زيارة ميدانية، التقى ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية في #اليمن، الدكتور سيد جعفر حسين وفريق المنظمة، بالعائلات، حيث وقفوا على الفجوات القائمة في الرعاية الصحية الأولية، وتحديات الإحالة الطبية، ومخاطر تفشي الأمراض.

تعمل منظمة الصحة العالمية بالتعاون مع السلطات الصحية والشركاء على تعزيز الخدمات الصحية الأساسية، وبرامج التطعيم، ونظام ترصد الأمراض بأسلوب منسق.

كما تدعو المنظمة الجهات المانحة والشركاء إلى توفير موارد إضافية وبشكل عاجل؛ للحفاظ على الاستجابة الصحية وتوسيع نطاقها، بما يضمن حصول الأطفال والأمهات والأسر النازحة على الرعاية الصحية التي يحتاجونها.

At Al-Firdous camp in Aden, displaced families are facing urgent needs, including limited access to essential health services.

During a field visit, World Health Organization (WHO) Representative to Dr Syed Jaffar Hussain and the WHO team met with families and saw firsthand the gaps in primary health care, referral challenges and risks of disease outbreaks.

WHO is working with health authorities and partners to strengthen essential health services, immunization and disease surveillance in a coordinated fashion.

WHO calls on donors and partners to urgently provide additional resources to sustain and expand the health response and ensure displaced children, mothers and families can access the care they need.

Escalating conflict and displacement are fuelling the spread of preventable diseases in .

With over 200,000 people displaced across 10 governorates, suspected cholera cases have tripled in three weeks, placing additional pressure on already overstretched health services.

World Health Organization is working with health authorities to strengthen disease surveillance, deploy rapid response teams and sustain essential treatment services.
However, a US$26.7 million funding gap threatens the scale-up of WHO’s emergency response.

Urgent international support is critical to contain outbreaks and protect vulnerable communities.

ؤدي تصاعد النزاع والنزوح في #اليمن إلى تفاقم انتشار أمراض يمكن الوقاية منها.

فمع نزوح أكثر من 200 ألف شخص في عشر محافظات، ارتفع عدد حالات الكوليرا المشتبه فيها إلى ثلاثة أمثاله خلال ثلاثة أسابيع، الأمر الذي تسبب في زيادة الضغط على الخدمات الصحية التي تعاني أصلًا من أعباء تفوق طاقتها.
وتتعاون منظمة الصحة العالمية مع السلطات الصحية على تعزيز ترصُّد الأمراض، ونشر فرق الاستجابة السريعة، وضمان استمرار تقديم الخدمات العلاجية الأساسية.

ومع ذلك، فإن الفجوة التمويلية البالغة 26.7 مليون دولار أمريكي تهدد جهود المنظمة لتوسيع نطاق استجابتها للطوارئ.
ولذا، فإن الدعم الدولي العاجل ضرورة لا غنى عنها لاحتواء الفاشيات وحماية المجتمعات المحلية الأشد ضعفًا.

Powering hospitals. Sustaining life-saving health services.

With support from the Kuwait Fund, World Health Organization (WHO), in coordination with national health authorities, is strengthening six hospitals across with reliable renewable-energy systems.

With approximately 1,566 kW of solar capacity, the project will help ensure more dependable electricity for essential hospital services, strengthen climate resilience and support more sustainable health care.

🏥 Around 935,000 people are expected to benefit directly, with up to 1.6 million benefiting indirectly each year.
