“Although my home is on top of a mountain where no organization or institution ever reaches us, Yamaan Foundation did,” says Ohoud, holding her two newborn daughters safely in her arms.

Her words are a reminder that behind every safe birth in the hardest-to-reach areas stands the determination of volunteers who never let distance stand in the way of saving lives.

تقول عُهود وهي تحتضن طفلتيها التوأم بسلام:
«رغم أن منزلي على قمة جبل لا تصل إليه أي منظمة أو مؤسسة، إلا أن مؤسسة يمان وصلت.»
كلماتها تذكير مؤثر بأن وراء كل ولادة آمنة في أصعب المناطق النائية تقف عزيمة متطوعين لا يسمحون لبُعد المسافة أن يقف عائقًا أمام إنقاذ الأرواح.

فلنعمل جميعًا من أجل بيئة داعمة لكل أم وكل طفل.

رغم الفوائد الكبيرة للرضاعة الطبيعية، إلا أن العديد من الأمهات يواجهن تحديات تمنعهن من الاستمرار، ومن أبرزها:
الألم أو التشققات في الحلمة
قلة الثقة في إدرار الحليب
ضغوط اجتماعية أو عائلية
غياب الدعم المناسب من المحيط
لايوجد خبرات عند الأمهات بوضعية الطفل ومسك الحلمه ومدة الرضعه الفعليه وأهمية تفريغ الثدي في كل رضعه والإعتناء برضاعة التوأم.

وهنا تظهر أهمية وجود دعم مستمر للأمهات من الأسرة، ومقدمي الرعاية الصحية، والبيئة العامة.
فكل أم بحاجة إلى التمكين والمساندة، وليس فقط التوعية.

Despite the many benefits of breastfeeding, many mothers face challenges that prevent them from continuing, including:

Ni**le pain or cracking
Low confidence in their milk supply
Social or family pressure
Lack of proper support from their surroundings
Limited knowledge about proper latching, positioning, feeding duration, the importance of fully emptying the breast during each session, and how to manage breastfeeding twins
This highlights the importance of continuous support for mothers—from family, healthcare providers, and the wider community.

Every mother needs empowerment and support, not just awareness.
