تأسست المنظمه عام 1997م.
* مؤسسها الشيخ/ عبدالرحمن يحي المروني.
* تبنت المنظمة مبادرة جوهرية وفريده على مستوى الساحه اليمنية.
* بلغ عدد المنتسبين لعضويتها حتى 2010م (4200)عضو من كبار القيادات المجتمعية والنخب المثقفة.
*حققت المنظمة نجاحات فآجأة الجميع مثلت الحلم والتحدي.
*الهدف العام من تأسيس المنظمة:

انية - أمن الناس في المقام الأول - مؤمنة في توجهها أن السلام والأخوة الإنسانية لا يمكن أن تقوم على أساس ديني او مذهبي او قومي او عنصري بل على أساس إنساني عميق الجذور رحب المدى يليق بحاجة كل البشر. Dar Al Salam Organization

The period 1997 – 2011
1. The organization was founded in 1997 and it was declared officially in 2002 according to a permission issued by Ministry of Social Affairs, No. The organization activates to handle and encounter five major issues (a unique effort on the local, regional and international levels): 1. mediation to solve tribal armed conflicts peacefully (reconciliation between conflicted parties) 2. Encountering kidnapping crimes. 3. Combating religious extremism. 4. combating spread of small arms among civilians and misuse of arms. 5. Training, qualifying and giving a hand to victims of arms and violence.
3. The organization's first founder is SHEIKH ABDULRAHMAN Al MARWANI.
4. Number of the organization's members has reached to 3400 members up to 2009. They belong to several social categories that have significant and effective role in community.
5. Although the organization has sacrificed 15 martyrs and several injured individuals of its members while doing their human duties, it has achieved successes that surprised all and represented the dream and the challenge at the same time. So it has gained the trust of the local and international communities. The General Aim of the Organization
Combating armed violence and putting an end to the growing culture of religious extremism brought to the community. Creating a community with a high level of awareness through making links between the field works and educational campaigns that make it contribute in encountering all factors of violence and use all its resources for development instead of buying arms. Releasing community of negative awareness that conceived its natural growth and finding out a new era free of hostility, revenge, bigot, fears and suspects and enjoy with tolerance, trust and social partnership. Mechanism, Methods and Means
1. The organization works through participating community with its all categories, coordinating efforts, unifying situations between the governmental and republic efforts and encouraging the private sector to support the organization's activities and programs.
2. Transform the issue adopted by the organization into public opinion through coordinating the role of clerks, educated elites and means of media and providing them with relevant information.
3. Encourage local, regional and international donors to support the projects and the programs that manipulate the essence of the issue in the field.
4. Encourage the community leaders to affiliate in the organization and make women participate in various activities.
5. target mosques, schools, common facilities and invent new educational means have enabled the organization to convey its message into every house in Yemen.
6. Connect the educational effort with public rallies demand to issue national laws to put an end to the problem.
