في إطار مشروع المساعدات الطارئة متعددة القطاعات في مجال الأمن الغذائي والمياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة الصحية للنازحين والمجتمعات المضيفة الأكثر ضعفاً في مديرية الزهرة بمحافظة الحديدة الممول من صندوق التمويل الإنساني – اليمن عقدت اليوم الاحد 23 اغسطس 2026م في تمام الساعة 11:00 صباحاً في المكتب الرئيسي جلسة فتح المظاريف للمناقصة العامة رقم (06/2026 )الخاصة بـ تأهيل وتركيب وحدة ضخ بالطاقة الشمسية وانشاء خزان برجي سعة 50وحدة وتنفيذ شبكة مياه لبئر الجواخبة وانشاء نقاط توزيع مياه في مواقع النازحين في مديرية الزهرة ، وفي الجلسة أعلنت لجنة فتح المظاريف علنيا عطاءات المتقدمين وضمان العطاءات وبحضورممثلين عن السلطات ، والمتابعة والتقييم بالمنظمة.

As part of the project “Emergency Multi-sector Food Security and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Assistance for Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Az-Zuhara District Hodeida governorate”, funded by (YHF) the bids opening session for the open Tender No. (06/2026) was held today, Monday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 am at the organization’s head office, for the bids on the Rehabilitation and installation of a solar-powered pumping unit, construction of a 50-unit Tower water tank, extension of a water network for the Al-Jawakhba well, and establishment of water distribution points in the IDP sites in Az Zuhrah district. In the session, the bids opening committee publicly announced the applicants’ bids and guarantees, in the presence of representatives of Contractors, the presence of representatives of the authorities, and LMMPO MEAL staff in the organization.

يُعدّ التعاون متعدد القطاعات وأصحاب المصلحة أمراً أساسياً لمعالجة العوامل المتعددة التي تزيد من هشاشة أوضاع كبار السن في اليمن. ولتحقيق ذلك بفعالية، يجب على جميع الجهات الفاعلة وكتل العمل الانساني تعزيز البيانات والتحليل من خلال الجمع المنتظم للبيانات المصنفة حسب النوع الاجتماعي والعمر والإعاقة (SADDD)، وتحليلها واستخدامها والإبلاغ عنها، إلى جانب اعتماد مؤشرات تراعي العمر، بما يسهم في توجيه خطة الاحتياجات والاستجابة الإنسانية (HNRP)

Data & Participation
Multisectoral and multi-stakeholder collaboration are vital to addressing the numerous drivers of older people's vulnerability in Yemen. To make this effective, all actors and clusters must strengthen data and analysis by regularly collecting, analysing, using, and reporting S*x, Age, and Disability Disaggregated Data (SADDD), alongside age-sensitive indicators, to inform the HNRP and humanitarian programmes.

مكافحة التمييز على أساس العمر والاعتراف بدور كبار السن وقدرتهم على المشاركة والتأثير:

التمييز القائم على السن هو قضية إنسانية وتنموية. إن اتّباع نهج شامل لإدماج كبار السن يعني تجاوز النظر إليهم كمتلقين سلبيين للمساعدات؛ إذ يجب علينا دعم استقلاليتهم، وقدرتهم على اتخاذ القرار، وقيادتهم في هيكليات صنع القرار الرسمية وغير الرسمية.

معًا لضمان عدم تهميش كبار السن

في إطار مشروع التقييم الإنساني الاستراتيجي والتمكين التشاركي (SHAPE)، الذي تنفذه منظمة LMMPO بتمويل من HelpAge International، نطلق حملة مناصرة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تستند إلى خطة المناصرة التي تم إعدادها ضمن أنشطة مشروع SHAPE.

وستتضمن الحملة سلسلة من رسائل المناصرة تُنشر رسالة او رسالتين أسبوعيا حتى نهاية نوفمبر 2026، وتهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على حقوق واحتياجات وإسهامات كبار السن في اليمن، والدعوة إلى تعزيز العمل الإنساني الشامل، ودعم نهج التوطين، وتعزيز سبل العيش القادرة على الصمود في مواجهة تغير المناخ، وزيادة الاستثمار في الفئات الأكثر تهميشًا، وتعزيز المساءلة، بما يضمن عدم ترك أي شخص كبير سن خلف الركب.

الإدماج ضمن الأولويات الإنسانية

مع وجود 1.65 مليون من كبار السن معرضين لخطر المجاعة و51% غير قادرين على الوصول إلى خدمات المساعدات في اليمن، يجب أن يكون إدماج كبار السن أولوية إنسانية. وينبغي العمل على ذلك عبر جميع كتل العمل الإنساني من خلال إشراكهم الفعلي والملموس في التخطيط للاستجابة للأزمات، وصنع القرار، والمراقبة.



Together to Ensure No Older Person Is Left Behind

As part of the Strategic Humanitarian Assessment and Participatory Empowerment (SHAPE) Project, implemented by LMMPO with funding from HelpAge International, we are launching a social media advocacy campaign based on the Advocacy Plan developed through the SHAPE Project.

Through a series of advocacy messages published every two weeks until the end of November 2026, the campaign highlights the rights, needs, and contributions of older people in Yemen. It calls for more inclusive humanitarian action, stronger localization, climate-resilient livelihoods, greater investment in marginalized groups, and enhanced accountability to ensure that no older person is left behind.

Follow our upcoming posts as we share key advocacy messages, evidence, and practical actions needed to promote the dignity, inclusion, participation, and resilience of older people in Yemen.

Inclusion in Humanitarian Priority

With 1.65M older people at risk of starvation and 51% unable to access aid services in Yemen, older people's inclusion must be a humanitarian priority—acted upon across all clusters by meaningfully involving them in crisis response planning, decision-making, and monitoring.

بخطواتٍ إنسانية... عاد الأمل إلى مخيمٍ كان على وشك أن يصبح غير صالح للحياة.
لم يكن هذا التدخل مجرد إعادة تأهيل للبنية التحتية، بل كان بدايةً لحياةٍ جديدة؛ حياةٍ تمنح الأسر فرصةً للعيش بكرامة، وتوفر للأطفال بيئةً أكثر أمانًا، وتعيد الأمل بمستقبلٍ أفضل لكل من يسكن هذا المخيم.

Through compassionate action, hope returned to a camp that was on the brink of becoming uninhabitable.
This intervention was more than just infrastructure rehabilitation—it marked the beginning of a new chapter, giving families the opportunity to live with dignity, providing children with a safer environment, and restoring hope for a brighter future.

اختتمت اليوم الورشة التدريبية لأعضاء اللجنة المجتمعية لمشروع المساعدات الطارئة متعددة القطاعات في مجال الأمن الغذائي والمياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة الصحية للنازحين والمجتمعات المضيفة الأكثر ضعفاً في مديرية الزهرة بمحافظة الحديدة – 37732 # وبتمويل من صندوق التمويل الانساني - اليمن والتي استمرت 3أيام
الورشة تدرب فيها اعضاء اللجنة المجتمعية للمشروع على معايير العمل الانساني؛ وآلية تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع ، ومعايير اختيار المستفيدين ، ومهارات ادارة جلسات التوعية بسوء التغذية والنظافة الصحية ، و ترشيد استخدامات المياه والحفاظ عليها ، ودورهم في تنفيذ انشطة المشروع ، وادارة الاجتماعات وكتابة المحاضر والتقارير ، وفن التعامل مع الاخرين ، وتعزيز آلية الشكاوى ومعايير قصص النجاح .وفي ختام الدورة تم تسليمهم شهادات المشاركة.

The three-day training workshop for members of the community committee for the Emergency Multi-sector Food Security and WATER, Sanitation and Hygiene Assistance for Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Az-Zuhara District, Hodeida governorate (37732 #), concluded today. It was funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
During the workshop, community committee members were trained on humanitarian work standards, the mechanism for implementing project activities, beneficiary selection criteria, and skills for conducting awareness sessions on malnutrition and hygiene. They also received training on water conservation and sustainable usage, their roles in project implementation, meeting management, minutes and report writing, interpersonal communication skills, enhancing the complaints mechanism, and success story standards. At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were awarded to all trainees.
