The Sana’a Center is an independent Yemeni think tank committed to producing research, shaping policy, and fostering dialogue on Yemen and the region.

work is grounded in strong networks that reach from local communities and political actors in Yemen to regional capitals and international policy circles. The Center’s unique position allows it to work through three interconnected pillars. It produces and advances locally-driven knowledge, keeping Yemeni perspectives and narratives at the forefront of policy debates. It engages in multi-track diplomacy at Track 1.5 and Track 2 levels, drawing on its trusted relationships and insider access to support dialogue and identify openings for peace. And it convenes diverse Yemeni voices across political, civic, and social divides, sustaining inclusive spaces and building momentum for meaningful change. This work is anchored in four thematic areas that reflect the complexity of Yemen’s challenges. On political transformation and inclusive peace, the Center engages with conflict dynamics, governance reform, and the inclusive participation of political actors, women, youth, and civic society. On transitional justice and reconciliation, we advance victim-centered, locally rooted approaches that address structural grievances and build political momentum for justice. On economic stabilization and recovery, we inform monetary and fiscal policy, private sector engagement, and the link between humanitarian aid and long-term development. And on environment, climate, and sustainable resources, we bring conflict-sensitive, locally grounded analysis to questions of resource management, green justice, and climate finance. The Sana’a Center is led by a group of Yemeni and international professionals, united by a shared commitment to Yemen’s peace and prosperity. Our staff operates across regional and international arenas, bringing together the diverse expertise and perspectives that make the Sana’a Center a trusted voice in building an inclusive and stable Yemen. This combination of independence, access, and commitment has made us a trusted actor in efforts to steer Yemen away from cycles of conflict and toward an inclusive and stable future.
مركز صنعاء للدراسات الاستراتيجية هو مركز أبحاث يمني مستقل ينتج المعرفة ويسهم في صياغة السياسات بشأن اليمن والمنطقة. منذ تأسيسه عام 2014، اكتسب المركز مصداقيته بفضل استقلاليته، وجودة تحليلاته، وقدرته على الانخراط مع مختلف الأطراف الفاعلة. تستند أعمال المركز إلى شبكات قوية تمتد من المجتمعات المحلية والفاعلين السياسيين في اليمن إلى العواصم الإقليمية ودوائر صنع السياسات الدولية.
يتيح الموقع الفريد للمركز العمل من خلال ثلاث ركائز مترابطة: فهو ينتج ويطوّر معرفة نابعة من السياق المحلي، لإبقاء المنظورات والسرديات اليمنية في صدارة نقاشات السياسات؛ كما ينخرط في الدبلوماسية متعددة المسارات، ولا سيما في إطار المسارين 1.5 و2، مستندًا إلى علاقاته الموثوقة وقدرته على الوصول إلى الفاعلين في الداخل، لدعم الحوار وتحديد فرص السلام؛ يجمع المركز أيضًا أصواتًا يمنية متنوعة من مختلف الأطراف السياسية والمدنية والاجتماعية، كما يعمل على جمع أصوات يمنية متنوعة من خلفيات سياسية ومدنية واجتماعية مختلفة، والحفاظ على مساحات جامعة للحوار، بما يسهم في خلق زخم نحو تغيير ملموس.
ترتكز هذه الجهود على أربعة مجالات موضوعية تعكس تعقيد التحديات التي يواجهها اليمن:
في مجال التحول السياسي والسلام الشامل، يتناول المركز ديناميات الصراع والحوكمة، والمشاركة الشاملة للفاعلين السياسيين والنساء والشباب والمجتمع المدني؛
في مجال العدالة الانتقالية والمصالحة، يدفع المركز باتجاه مقاربات محلية الجذور تضع الضحايا في قلب العملية، وتعالج المظالم البنيوية، وتبني زخمًا سياسيًا من أجل العدالة؛
في مجال الاستقرار والتعافي الاقتصادي، يسهم المركز في إثراء السياسات النقدية والمالية، وانخراط القطاع الخاص، وفهم العلاقة بين المساعدات الإنسانية والتنمية طويلة الأمد؛
في مجال البيئة والمناخ والموارد المستدامة، يقدّم المركز تحليلات تراعي حساسية الصراع وترتكز محليًا حول إدارة الموارد، والعدالة البيئية، وتمويل المناخ.
