#وزير التربية والتعليم يطّلع على سير العمل في المطبخ الصحي المدرسي بعدن
اطّلع وزير التربية والتعليم، الدكتور عادل عبدالمجيد العبادي، على سير العمل في المطبخ الصحي المدرسي التابع لمشروع الوجبات الصحية المدرسية، الذي تنفذه جمعية التكافل الإنساني (SHS) بتمويل من برنامج الأغذية العالمي(WFP)، وذلك خلال زيارة ميدانية إلى موقع المشروع في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن.
وكان في استقبال الوزير نائب رئيس الجمعية محمد يسلم، والمدير التنفيذي لجمعية التكافل الإنساني(SHS) زكريا الحميري ، ومديرة المشروع صباح بن بريك، حيث قدّموا له شرحًا مفصلًا حول آلية العمل داخل المطبخ، ومراحل إعداد وتجهيز الوجبات وفق المعايير الصحية المعتمدة.
ورافق الوزير خلال الزيارة سامانثا نائب ممثل برنامج الأغذية العالمي، إلى جانب حضور عدد من المسؤولين والشركاء، من بينهم شاهدة أختر ضابط برامج مكتب برنامج الأغذية العالمي(WFP)، ومنى الباشا مساعد البرامج في البرنامج، وعبود ناجي مدير عام مديرية دار سعد، والدكتور محمد الحجاجي رئيس منظمة بيور هاندز، والدكتور عبدالمجيد الشعبي المدير القطري للمنظمة، وأنيس حجر مدير مكتب التربية والتعليم بمديرية دار سعد، وفضل قحطان مدير مكتب الوحدة التنفيذية للتغذية المدرسية.
واستمع الوزير إلى عرض حول آلية العمل داخل المطبخ، والذي يوفّر يوميًا أكثر من 26 ألف وجبة صحية يستفيد منها طلاب 19 مدرسة حكومية في مديريتي المنصورة ودار سعد، وفق معايير الجودة والسلامة الغذائية، في إطار جهود دعم العملية التعليمية وتعزيز صحة الطلاب.
وأشاد الوزير بمستوى التنظيم والالتزام بمعايير الجودة داخل المطبخ، مثمنًا الدور الذي تقوم به جمعية التكافل الإنساني وشركاؤها في دعم التعليم.
وقال في تصريح له:
"ما شاهدناه اليوم يعكس نموذجًا ناجحًا للتكامل بين العمل الإنساني والقطاع التعليمي، حيث تسهم هذه المشاريع في تحسين صحة الطلاب وتعزيز قدرتهم على التعلم. ونتطلع إلى توسيع نطاق هذه المبادرات لتشمل مدارس أكثر في مختلف المحافظات."
من جانبه، قال المدير التنفيذي لجمعية التكافل الإنساني (SHS) زكريا الحميري إن الجمعية تحرص على تقديم وجبات صحية متكاملة وفق أعلى معايير الجودة بما يسهم في تحسين صحة الطلاب ورفع مستوى تحصيلهم الدراسي، مؤكدًا أن هذا المشروع يأتي ضمن جهود الجمعية في دعم قطاع التعليم وتحسين البيئة المدرسية، وبالشراكة مع برنامج الأغذية العالمي لتنفيذ تدخلات نوعية ومستدامة تستهدف توسيع نطاق الاستفادة والوصول إلى أكبر عدد ممكن من الطلاب.
Minister of Education Reviews School Feeding Kitchen Operations in Aden
The Minister of Education, Dr. Adel Abdulmajid Al-Abbadi, reviewed the progress of work at the school feeding kitchen under the School Feeding Project, implemented by the Humanitarian Solidarity Society (SHS) and funded by the World Food Programme (WFP), during a field visit to the project site in the interim capital, Aden.
The Minister was received by SHS Vice President Mohammed Yaslam, SHS Executive Director Zakaria Al-Himyari, and Project Manager Sabah Bin Breik, who provided a detailed explanation of the kitchen’s workflow and the stages of meal preparation in accordance with approved health standards.
The visit was accompanied by Samantha, Deputy Representative of WFP, along with a number of officials and partners, including Shahida Akhtar, Programme Officer at WFP, Mona Al-Basha, Programme Assistant at WFP, Aboud Naji, Director General of Dar Saad District, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajjaji, President of Pure Hands Organization, Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Shaabi, Country Director of the organization, Anis Hajar, Director of the Education Office in Dar Saad District, and Fadhl Qahtan, Director of the Executive Unit for School Feeding.
The Minister was briefed on the kitchen’s operational mechanism, which provides more than 26,000 healthy meals daily to students in 19 public schools across Al-Mansoura and Dar Saad districts, in line with food quality and safety standards, as part of efforts to support the education sector and enhance students’ health.
The Minister praised the level of organization and adherence to quality standards within the kitchen, commending the role of SHS and its partners in supporting education.
He stated:
"What we have seen today reflects a successful model of integration between humanitarian work and the education sector. These projects contribute to improving students’ health and enhancing their ability to learn. We look forward to expanding these initiatives to reach more schools across different governorates."
For his part, SHS Executive Director Zakaria Al-Humaidi affirmed that the association is committed to providing integrated, high-quality healthy meals that contribute to improving students’ health and academic performance. He emphasized that this project comes within SHS’s efforts to support the education sector and improve the school environment, in partnership with WFP, through impactful and sustainable interventions aimed at expanding coverage and reaching the largest possible number of students.
