The Muslim Identity: Mawlana .attari1 delivered an enlightening lesson on Sunday, engaging the boys in discussions around how to become an ideal member of society and the Muslim identity. Mawlana sahib emphasised the importance of aiming to be “silent preachers” within the community through various acts of kindness.

The discussion allowed for students to ponder over their day-to-day interactions with family, friends, neighbours and the wider community by emphasising generosity, visiting the sick, sharing food and doing charitable acts as a way of strengthening our relationship with Allah Ta’ala and His Beloved ‎ﷺ. Students were sent away with a contemplative piece of homework: To think about one or two scenarios where they feel they have made a good impact on non-Muslims in their lives.

It’s food for thought for all of us inShaAllah.

Mawlana sahib is currently developing a series of engaging and extremely beneficial bite-size lessons and courses for boys of secondary school age and above. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these and encourage boys within your family and friends to join once advertised.

Education is power. 😊

🌹Autumn Term 2026🌹

Alhamdulillah, it was an absolute delight to be back at Academy for the beginning of Autumn Term. So lovely to see our returning students as well as the lively new cohort! And my goodness, they’re certainly a lovely bunch. 🥰

Today really was just an icebreaker for them all; they got familiar with routines and made new friends maShaAllah, as well as enjoying some treats from parents who had intended to put smiles on children’s faces for Rabi ul Awwal that has just passed. Allah Ta’ala bless all those who donated and strengthen their connection with the Beloved ‎ﷺ. Aameen.🤲🏼💚

InShaAllah see you all again next week, when students begin their first steps on the path of seeking sacred knowledge.
