QMSZ lobon për ruajtjen dhe mbrojtjen e mjedisit; promovimin e vlerave natyrore dhe turizmit. Our Story:

The mission of Qendra Mjedisore për Studime dhe Zbatime (Environmental Center for Study and Implementation) is to protect both the natural environment and human environment in the local community, through activating youth and working directly with the community to improve conditions. QMSZ was formally registered in 2018, but was started as an initiative in 2015 and has been operating since. It began in response to a call for proposals from the Open Society Foundation, with me as the founder organizing local youth in a project to clean up the local River Shkumbin, which had been heavily polluted, with local authorities failing to act. This project was a great success, developing a culture of activism and volunteerism that had not been previously seen in Librazhd, and the initiative has engaged in other grassroots community projects since then. The NGO was formalized to provide greater opportunities for young professionals to participate in trainings and projects that require a formally registered organization. https://web.facebook.com/NismaMbroLuminShkumbinLibrazhd/ is the link to our initiative’s page, which we keep going for local activities.
