لحظات من الفخر نعيشها اليوم مع إسدال الستار على محطة تدريبية جديدة ومميزة!
نعلن عن الاختتام الناجح للورشة التدريبية الثالثة من "برنامج تمكين الصحفيين الشباب في محافظة بابل"، والتي أقيمت أيام 10، 11، و16 نيسان 2026.
في اليوم الأخير، احتفينا بجهود المشاركين المتميزين وتوجنا تدريبهم بتوزيع شهادات الإنجاز، بعد أن تسلحوا بأدوات متقدمة في كشف تزييف المحتوى ورصد الأخبار المضللة.
أبرز المحاور والفعاليات:
ركزت الورشة على تقديم تدريب متقدم وشامل غطى رادار الحقيقة: التقصي الرقمي والمواجهة الواعية للتضليل الإعلامي ، ومنها:
• العين الرقمية: فن كشف تزييف الصور والمحتوى البصري.
• هيكلية الأكاذيب: استراتيجيات رصد الأخبار المضللة وتفنيد الإشاعات.
• مختبر التحقق: التطبيق الميداني وحصاد المهارات الصحفية.
وقد تخلل البرنامج جلسات تطبيقية واختبارات يومية لضمان تحقيق أقصى استفادة للمشاركين.

Moments of Pride!
Today, we celebrate a significant milestone as we draw the curtain on an exceptional training journey!
We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the third training workshop of the "Empowering Young Journalists Program in Babil," held on April 10th, 11th, and 16th, 2026.
On this final day, we honored the outstanding efforts of our participants, culminating their training with the distribution of certificates of achievement. They are now equipped with advanced tools to detect content manipulation and counter disinformation.
Highlights and Key Activities: The workshop provided advanced, comprehensive training under the theme "Truth Radar: Digital Verification and Conscious Confrontation of Media Disinformation," featuring:
•The Digital Eye: The art of detecting image manipulation and visual content forgery.
•The Structure of Lies: Strategies for monitoring misleading news and debunking rumors.
•Verification Lab: Field applications and the harvest of professional journalistic skills.
The program included daily practical sessions and assessments to ensure maximum benefit for all participants.

تحت شعار: "صحفيو المستقبل.. بمهنية صوت الحقيقة" بابل تسدل الستار على المحطة الثانية لبرنامج تمكين الصحفيين الشباب
بنجاحٍ متميز اختتمت منظمة التعليم العالمي الورشة التدريبية الثانية لبرنامج "تمكين الصحفيين الشباب في محافظة بابل"، والذي نُفذ بفضل الدعم الكريم والسخي المقدم من السفارة الأمريكية في بغداد أقيمت هذه الفعالية بالتعاون المثمر مع شركاء النجاح في ديوان محافظة بابل ومديرية شباب ورياضة بابل (الجهة المستضيفة)
وعلى مدار ثلاثة أيام (26-28 كانون الثاني 2026) احتضنت "قاعة المبدعين" في المديرية نخبة من الشباب الواعد وكوادر الدوائر الحكومية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني. ركزت الورشة بشكل مكثف على أدوات "صحافة الموبايل"وتقنيات التقاط الصورة الصحفية وقواعد الصياغة الخبرية مع توظيف أحدث التطبيقات التقنية لضمان مواكبة الحداثة الإعلامية
تضمنت الجلسات تدريبات عملية وحوارات تفاعلية مثمرة أسهمت بفاعلية في تعزيز المهارات الأدبية والصحفية للمشاركين ورفدهم بآليات استقصاء الخبر بمصداقية عالية تعزز من جودة المحتوى الإعلامي المحلي
وخلال حفل الختام أشاد مدير شباب ورياضة بابل الأستاذ نائل طالب السرحان بالمستوى التنظيمي للبرنامج مؤكدا على أهمية هذه الورش في صقل طموحات الشباب وتهيئتهم مهنيا
من جانبه أكد مدير البرنامج السيد عادل كاظم هادي الحسيني أن هذا التفاعل الاستثنائي من قبل أبناء بابل يحتم علينا بذل جهود أكبر لتقديم الأفضل دائما موجها وافر الشكر والامتنان للسفارة الأمريكية ومنظمة التعليم العالمي على دعمهم السخي وإيمانهم الراسخ بتمكين الشباب العراقي المبدع وتوفير الفرص النوعية التي تخدم مسيرة التنمية في عراقنا الحبيب

Under the Slogan: "Future Journalists.. The Professional Voice of Truth" Babylon Concludes the Second Phase of the Youth Journalists Empowerment Program
With distinguished success, the Global Education Organization (GEO) concluded the second training workshop of the "Youth Journalists Empowerment Program in Babylon Governorate." This initiative was made possible through the generous and gracious support of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and was held in fruitful cooperation with our partners in success at the Babylon Governorate Office and the Babylon Directorate of Youth and Sports (the hosting entity).
Over the course of three days (January 26-28, 2026), the "Creativity Hall" at the Directorate hosted a select group of promising youth, along with staff from government departments and civil society organizations. The workshop focused intensively on "Mobile Journalism" (MoJo) tools, photographic techniques, and news writing standards, utilizing the latest technical applications to ensure alignment with modern media trends.
The sessions included practical training and productive interactive dialogues, which effectively contributed to enhancing the literary and journalistic skills of the participants. It provided them with the mechanisms for credible news investigation, thereby elevating the quality of local media content.
During the closing ceremony, the Director of Babylon Youth and Sports, Mr. Naer Talib Al-Sarhan, praised the program’s organizational excellence, emphasizing the vital role of these workshops in refining youth ambitions and preparing them professionally for the future.
For his part, the Program Manager, Mr. Adil Kadhim Hadi Al-Husseiny, stated: "The exceptional engagement from the youth of Babylon drives us to exert even greater efforts to provide the best." He extended his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the U.S. Embassy and the Global Education Organization for their generous support and their firm belief in empowering creative Iraqi youth by providing qualitative opportunities that serve the development of our beloved Iraq.

تقرير حول اختتام الورشة التدريبية الأولى لبرنامج "تمكين الصحفيين الشباب" في بابل

يسرنا أن نعلن عن الاختتام الناجح للورشة التدريبية الأولى ضمن "برنامج تمكين الصحفيين الشباب في محافظة بابل"، والتي أُقيمت فعالياتها يوم الأحد الموافق 14 ديسمبر 2025, يأتي هذا البرنامج كجزء من جهودنا المستمرة لتعزيز القدرات الإعلامية في المنطقة، وقد تم تنظيمه بدعم من منظمة التعليم العالمي والسفارة الأمريكية في بغداد، وبالتعاون المثمر مع شركائنا في ديوان محافظة بابل ومديرية شباب ورياضة بابل التي استضافت الحدث.
تفاصيل الورشة:
تحت شعار "صحفيون المستقبل... بمهنية صوت الحقيقة"، عُقدت الورشة في قاعة المبدعين على مدار ثلاثة أيام (9، 11، و14 ديسمبر), استهدفت الورشة مجموعة متميزة من المشاركين شملت موظفين من دوائر حكومية مختلفة، وممثلين عن منظمات المجتمع المدني، بالإضافة إلى عدد من النشطاء المدنيين.
أبرز المحاور والفعاليات:
ركزت الورشة على تقديم تدريب متقدم وشامل غطى المهارات الأساسية للعمل الصحفي الحديث، ومنها:
•أساسيات الصياغة الصحفية وكتابة الأخبار.
•آليات التحقق من المعلومات في العصر الرقمي.
•استراتيجيات التفاعل الرقمي وبناء السياق الإعلامي.
وقد تخلل البرنامج جلسات تطبيقية واختبارات يومية لضمان تحقيق أقصى استفادة للمشاركين. كما شهد اليوم الختامي جلسة حوارية بناءة حول "دور الإعلام في نبذ العنف وتقريب السلام"، أثرى النقاش فيها وفد شبابي من إقليم كردستان.

في هذا السياق، أشار الأستاذ نائل طالب السرحان، مدير شباب ورياضة بابل، إلى أن هذه الدورات المجانية تأتي ضمن رؤية المديرية لتنمية وتطوير مهارات الشباب في المحافظة، مؤكداً على الدور المحوري الذي تلعبه الصحافة في صقل شخصية الفرد وتعزيز ثقته بنفسه.

Report on the Conclusion of the First Training Workshop for the "Empowering Young Journalists" Program in Babylon
We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the first training workshop within the "Empowering Young Journalists Program in Babylon Province," which concluded its activities on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This program is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance media capabilities in the region. It was organized with the support of World Learning and the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, in fruitful cooperation with our partners at the Babylon Provincial Council and the Babylon Directorate of Youth and Sports, which hosted the event.
Workshop Details: Under the slogan "Future Journalists... Professionalism as the Voice of Truth," the workshop was held at the "Creators Hall" over three days (December 9, 11, and 14). The workshop targeted a distinguished group of participants, including employees from various government departments, representatives of civil society organizations, and several civil activists.
Key Themes and Activities: The workshop focused on providing advanced and comprehensive training covering essential modern journalistic skills, including:
•Fundamentals of journalistic drafting and news writing.
•Fact-checking mechanisms in the digital age.
•Digital engagement strategies and building media context.
The program featured practical sessions and daily assessments to ensure maximum benefit for the participants. The final day also included a constructive panel discussion on "The Role of Media in Rejecting Violence and Promoting Peace," enriched by the participation of a youth delegation from the Kurdistan Region.
