Tonight, there are so many prayers being lifted up. God knows our hearts, our minds, and every strand of hair on our heads. He knows every tear, every fear, and every need before we even speak it.
Our Washington County community has so many precious people who are hurting right now. There are several fundraisers taking place for families who need our love and support. If you're able, please share them, attend them, donate, or simply keep these families in your prayers. Our community has always been strong, compassionate, and incredibly giving.
I want to tell you about someone very special to me—Amy. Amy is a precious teacher, and we've shared many tears over the years. We got married around the same time and dreamed of the same things: a loving marriage, beautiful children, and a life filled with family. Life didn't unfold the way either of us expected. Our stories are different, but our hearts understand one another.
Amy was my sweet nephew Evan's teacher, and she became someone our entire family grew to love. My family was always taking her food, my mom loved surprising her, and she has truly been a blessing in our lives. We are praying so hard for her tonight.
Please also keep my own family in your prayers. My mom is finally home after being in the hospital, and my great-uncle David is not doing well. David has been one of Evan's mentors, and the two of them have spent countless hours singing and playing music together at church. Those memories are so special.
There are also several business owners and other members of our community who are currently in the hospital or facing difficult health battles. Please lift them and their families up in prayer.
Tonight, let's come together as a community. Pray hard. Love deeply. Give generously if you're able. Reach out to someone who is hurting. Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are not walking through these difficult days alone. ❤️🙏
